Good luck to him if he goes. As I said before £750k+ would be a good return with a year left. Those that’s said £350k maximum will soon be proved wrong.

He's a Championship level player and constantly gives his all. I wouldn't begrudge him moving, especially for good money, but I do worry where that leaves us next season trying to replace his 19 G/A and 4,000+ minutes played. BIG shoes to fill.

Antony is our only player that gets into a play-off team in this division.
If he goes I really do fear for our future in League One.

Normally we have a good gage of end prices from the grape vines. As Pirate said, Siriki Dembele joined Bournemouth for £2.5m with one-year left on his deal in 2022. Evans has 10g/9a in L1 from midfield, has leadership qualities and is fairly versatile across multiple positions. He's also our most valuable asset/best player. Less than seven figures would be disappointing if he left. |

We are a selling club of course our better players are going to go, usually sooner than later, gone past caring now. Football has no loyalty anymore, Harold J Geoff Bradford etc it’s wam bam and thank you on instagram as they go off holding a cashier cheque aloft, bye gasheads thanks for the memories, next minute holding aloft the new shirt with the manager and chairman by their side. One thing I’m sure is the players coming in need to be hungry and proud to play for us not more mercenaries or un tried youth players.

No real surprises.
Hopefully if he goes anywhere we receive a good fee for him.
Also if he does, MT should have a bit of money to spend after the sale of Collins and possibly Evans.
Should be looking at a near a couple million for Evans.

He's gone in my opinion and I wouldn't blame him either I would go if I was in his shoes
He'll want to test himself at that level, I don't think he's quite good enough for the championship but that's just my opinion.

Every likelihood him moving on and fair play to him if he does....
For everyone moaning about an 'undisclosed ' fee - makes more sense than telling the world we might have some money to spend.
That said ... we always seem to agree on an instalment plan so we wont see any real funds to spend. Last I heard we hadn't received very much at all from the Collins mega deal.

Who was "moaning"..? it is a fairly standard practice nowadays for the reason you mentioned. It'll all show up in the accounts eventually anyway |
