If it was the Bristol Post- we'd be reporting hearsay etc... expect a few teams interested. £2m if they do.

I think we'll do well to get over a million personally.
Collins had 18 months left on his contract and we only got £750k.
JCH had 1 year last summer and Posh we willing to sell for 800k. Granted JCH is 4 years older.
Anything over a million would be a good deal in my opinion.

Was inevitable. Good luck to him, a class above the rest of our squad and Championship ready.
Lets just hope we can get £1m+ and not what some have suggested on here circa 350k ffs
edit - And let's hope we adequately replace him and Collins!

And we’re off…..will he? Won’t he? I think the jury’s out for me as to whether he’s championship class, that’s a tough division. We are a selling club of course our better players are going to go, usually sooner than later, gone past caring now. Football has no loyalty anymore, Harold J Geoff Bradford etc it’s wam bam and thank you on instagram as they go off holding a cashier cheque aloft, bye gasheads thanks for the memories, next minute holding aloft the new shirt with the manager and chairman by their side. One thing I’m sure is the players coming in need to be hungry and proud to play for us not more mercenaries or un tried youth players. Totally unfair to compare 1950’s players with today’s players in my opinion. The world has changed beyond recognition since then. Whatever happens I will wish Antony all the best in his future, I’d like to think we get a large sum for him but somehow can’t see us getting as much as hoped, it’s how we roll. In the 1950s there was a maximum wage for footballers. In theory at least you could earn no more playing for Arsenal than playing for Bristol Rovers. If you were a local man there wasn't much point moving to another club unless it was simply about honour and trophies

This is a Championship team so i'd expect £1m+ and Evo should expect a hike in his wages

To think a year ago a lot of fans were saying he wasn't good enough for League 1. He kicked on again last season though.

Every likelihood him moving on and fair play to him if he does.... For everyone moaning about an 'undisclosed ' fee - makes more sense than telling the world we might have some money to spend. That said ... we always seem to agree on an instalment plan so we wont see any real funds to spend. Last I heard we hadn't received very much at all from the Collins mega deal. Who was "moaning"..? it is a fairly standard practice nowadays for the reason you mentioned. It'll all show up in the accounts eventually anyway Sorry ... Moaning was dramatic .... I should have just stated the the other bit.

If we could get close to a million and get Aguilera back on loan that might be good business
We are generally ok in midfield, its pace and strikers we need and they usually cost the money
If he does move on he will get a positive reception from me if he returns, always gives his all and has stood out this season in a pretty ordinary side

If he leaves then no animosity from me, been a loyal servant but at 25 maybe pastures new are good for him.
680'000 to 980'000 is a price I would be prepared to accept. But don't stand in this young kads development or progression.
I will wish him the very best

i will be surprised if he moves to Pompey as he is close to his family and they are all in the north. Bolton with his good mate Aza is a much better fit if they get promoted

Would be very happy to be proven wrong . Taylors rebuild gets even bigger…..

Thinking about it, Dembele didn't even have the elite footballing education that Evans received in the excellent Everton academy and wasn't recognised as one of the best English prospects in his age group with any international recognition. These little details all have to be taken into consideration.
Let's call it £5 mil. 🤑
Edit: Of course I'm joking there with the fee, but all I hope is we don't get our pants pulled down and belly tickled. My expectations lowered a long time ago. 😂

Probably going, just hoping we're going to get good money for him. I'm not sure he'll make a regular Championship player, but good luck and thanks if he goes.
Alternatively, he stays as Captain, scores 20, and sees us up with a play off final winning penalty.

If we let him go (let’s be optimistic and say £1m) there are two questions,
1) Will the owner allow that money to be re-invested in to the first team? 2) Do we trust MT to spend £1m wisely?

With a year left on contract and say there limited clubs interested in him at what price do you say ok we accept as compared to saying we will keep him?

If Mr A. Evans departs the good ship Irene his transfer fee depends on the number of clubs genuinely interested in his acquisition.
If it is simply Pompey, (unlikely), the fee will be lower than he is worth. If other Championship sides are keen he will command a significant sum.
For him and us the signing of a raised extended contract in the near future is something of a canny option.
It is conceivable that the situation might not be resolved until late in the window. Unless.....one particular club is especially interested.
