Loved that today .... Passion/ Grit / Camaraderie ... The way they were high fiving, encouraging each other and hugging was just brilliant... Leahy was constantly encouraging everyone... the Captain we have needed for so long... Give it to him for the rest of the season JB Great game until injury time but we got through ... I had. 2-1 ... Gas win Btts ... Leahy first goal Happy days ... Let’s go again Tuesday ... Can’t wait ! Have you got the Sports Almanac from Biff Tannen or something? Got the midas touch lately.

Hanson? “Take a seat....why don’t you sit down for me....take a seat right there” Must admit I had to look this one up.

Just a little typing error o great one you know what these mobile phone keyboards are like. What is Mmm bop? It's a song from the 90s by a teen pop band called Hanson. They were three brothers with long blonde hair - a little one about 12 on drums, a spotty older one about 19 on guitar and a middle one about 16 on keyboard who looked uncannily like a girl - a very confusing time for a teenaged lad.

When running at defenders Hanson is a real handful so powerful but does go to ground too easy but that’s the modern game for you. Sort out his finishing and he will be a very good player but as I said before he is still quite raw with plenty to work on but there is talent there. I think there could be more to his game than Clarke Harris and he is doing very well at Peterborough at the moment. Who is Hanson? Mmm bop?

Tom Nichols scored 9 in 117 . Brandon scored 8 in 22. I wonder why Brandon is getting stick ? Make that 9 Brandon our top scorer ! Thanks . Completely bizarre isn't it? Ellis Harrison got exactly the same. It seems the only way to get any real praise out of Rovers fans is to be utterly utterly utterly sh**. So, bad that you become statistically the worst player we've ever had. When you've achieved that, apparently you can have plaudits to high heaven. But if you're just good or even pretty decent. Woe betide you on here ...

Flipping heck. Some of the comments on here. Anyone would think we're 3-0 down in the 89th minute not nil nil at 25. Honestly.

So yet again the club jump in two footed and appoint the first person who shows an interest in Rovers ! Barton was bound to show interest when no one in football would touch him with a court case looming let alone his past violent history ! It amazes me that they never even mentioned interviewing someone else and as for the negotiations it seems Barton got exactly what he wanted ? Interviewed over Zoom for obvious reasons but the allowed to mix with the players without 2 weeks self isolation !! Wael needs to surround his self with people who aren’t taking him for a ride I suppose next time, we should not accept any applications, because we shouldn't appoint someone who shows an interest in the position? If it turns out the next manager's first words to Starnes aren't "Bristol Who-vers"? I'm done.

It worries me that someone who has only presided over one (dire defeat) match should be getting such adulation at the expense of people who have already worked for years for the club. Istm people are getting carried away by Barton's success. Hint: he hasn't had any yet. Also, the idea that we should keep him even if we go down, which I've read a lot over the past week, seems a bit presumptive. Surely we should wait to see the manner of our relegation before advocating the mastermind of our failure be kept in charge. It's just classic for this forum and, to an extent Rovers fans in general, everything Rovers is sh1t and everything different is incredible and what we should be doing. Until we start doing it then it's sh1t.

From the Stamford University ethics committee review into this study - it came out in 2000 but everyone missed it due the Feng Shui hoax thing. "The study has received many ethical criticisms, including lack of fully informed consent by participants or "fans" as they have come to describe themselves. The designers of the study did not know what would happen in the experiment and outcomes were highly unpredictable, the punching of a police horse for example, could not have been foreseen. Furthermore, the "fans" did not consent to their next of kin being exposed to the experiment by way of being taken to the staged "matches" and being gifted "club merchandise" further calling into question how this study would ultimately be brought to an end. Consideration is now being given to a "bankruptcy" for the "club" or relegation out of league football in an attempt to wind down the university's involvement". ...but has anyone Divergent been identified yet? Teds.

Yep, all part of the Elite Player Performance Plan. One of the ever increasing list of policies that maintain and increase the gap between the EPL elite and the EFL peasants. I don’t even watch PL. It’s like the Harlem globetrotters, a ridiculous collection of international stars who don’t even share the same language, playing for teams they can’t pronounce, owned by people who have never walked in the neighbourhood they were started in, supported mainly by sulky kids who always wanted to be on the winning side. A lot of exceptions, but the PL now is bizzaroworld if you know what football used to be. I feel for Man City. Used to be a load of blokes like us. Now they have to share their club with a load of prawn sandwich munchers. It’s not like it’s bad football, it’s amazing, but football is about your town, your friends, your family. Rovers goes back 4 generations in mine. It’s not about winning, it’s about community. Not some gross corporate branding, professional headshot, goal animation, billboard poster nonsense. But at least during matches clubs still keep the time-honoured tradition of tweeting a GIF of the goalscorer folding their arms.

Yeah I'm very uncomfortable with that. I strongly dislike people doing down their own. nobodys putting their own down, just saying our ground is an very poor compared to most of the football league and even a good few non league ground, away fans must think wtf when they visit, its hardly improve much in twenty years, and i take no pride in it, just my views thats all. That's a valid opinion. However, the word "dump" is emotive and unnecessary in my opinion.

So u r cpble of typing hole words thn? I must say, I don't care much for pointing out people's spelling over the internet. Doesn't hurt to be nice? All meant in lighthearted jest in relation to use of text speak rather than anything to do with spelling. Apologies if offence caused.

We own the mem as much as we ever have and in the same manner as we always have as a football club, yes. I thought the Mem is officially ours, the Mortgage was taken on 25 years ago and I'm sure that has been paid off in full. Short answer - basically, yes.

People call the Mem a dump? I don't recall Eastville being fantastic, and comparing the Mem to Twerton....... Happy memories of Twerton but that really was a utter dump' makes the Mem look fairly decent but then what would I know as I've only been a Rovers Supporter since 1979 so maybe I know jack sh** Yeah I'm very uncomfortable with that. I strongly dislike people doing down their own.

Great read, never had much apart from spirit, and i guess we never will, many happy memories of eastville, twerton and the dump we now call home,I'm sixty now and doubt I'll ever see us in the top flight or even a new stadium, thankfully I've been lucky enough to see us win promotion four times and suffered like the rest our setbacks, but I love this club and always will regardless of how tin pot we are most of the time UTG. But we don’t own The Mem do we ? It’s security against the debt. I’ve been watching the Gas since 1977. Home & away since 1989, hardly missing a match. Irrespective the club are still in the s@it until a new site for a stadium can be found and developed and by moving us out of this dump. Until then our demise will continue. #notinmylifetime. And I’m 48 We own the mem as much as we ever have and in the same manner as we always have as a football club, yes.

Jesus; it reads like, "The fall of the house of Usher."
Been following since 1980, and have long had the theory, that... A), We`re cursed. or B), We`re the subject of a large sociological survey, to establish how much unhappiness a group of people can tolerate.

This place never ceases to amaze me. We had one bloke who scored 4 goals in three seasons, something like 96 appearances, and people were calling him our best player, saying he should have been offered a new contract and wailing and gnashing their teeth when he was let go. Now we've got a bloke who's scored 6 league goals in 18 games and he's catching absolute pelters. 6 in 27 I think you will find which then isn't quite so good.Has scored one goal this calender year so I'm not surprised that people are starting to question his ability as a striker. I don't think he is a natural striker from what I've seen always tends to be on the back foot so hopefully JB can turn it around. 6 in 27 and one goal this calendar year (which is 7 weeks old) is dream territory compared to our most naturally gifted player ever. The point stands.
