3-0 down and four good saves from their keeper. Martin aside we just haven’t been clinical enough this season and even martins magic goalscoring touch hasn’t quite clicked these last few games. Story of the season we’re very rarely as clinical as the opposition in both boxes and that’s where it matters.

What an absolute Banned word. I can’t stand Jeremy vine but you can’t go around calling people a nonce on social media without any proof and I hope vine takes him to the cleaners, I’ve got no idea but isn’t this the sort of thing you could do time for ?

I’d love it if England won the euros but would take promotion for the Gas next season over England winning it in Germany this year for sure.

Our away form isn’t bad either though , I think it’s one defeat in 5 with 3 wins. Hopefully it’ll be a good game.

I quite enjoyed watching on iFollow this evening. It was not boring and we possibly could have done a bit better with some of the chances we had. A clean sheet and another point are positives. Yeah I thought we defended very well, their only really good chance where it looked like they would surely score was when hoole made a great sliding block with Ward beaten. We also actually created quite a few good chances but the problem this squads got is it’s not clinical enough and we’re relying on a 35 year old who’s been in the purplest patch of his career until the last two games where he hasn’t scored and neither have we. I reckon those who had the Radio Bristol commentary on rather than the fleetwood probably feel that it was more of a dire match than it actually was. I switched around the 20 minute mark and thought it wasn’t bad for a 0-0 and feel we should have won it as we were by far the better side.

I’m actually debating turning it off , it’s pretty bad. I just thought it was Lee Thorpe's commentary, might replay that first half to help drift off to later. The fleetwood commentary is very good, one of the best I’ve heard on I follow.

On the subject of loans weve had over the years theres Quansah who didn’t really impress last season for us in league 1 and is now a regular in one of the best teams in the world a year on. He played very well today against Man City in a cracking game of football.

Football and women in shorts , what’s not to like ? Seriously though the standard is no where near the men’s game but it’s different , it’s like women’s tennis compared to men’s it’s not as quick or physical but it’s still worth watching in my opinion. I enjoy it and watch all the England games and some of the Prem league as well. I hope the Rovers get behind our women’s team more because it’s good for the game and also there is money to be made , looking at the crowds they get in the prem some of them are significantly higher than we get on a Saturday at the Mem. Woman’s football has come so far in such is short space of time and I think that can only be a good thing for the game. 1 in 5 supporters are female and I’ve always thought it’s bizzare how many women go to support their team but how few actually play it. But now it’s starting to even out. The tickets are much cheaper and still subsidised by the clubs. Hey, if you enjoy it then good on you. Each to their own KP 👍

Really? You don't see why his post is ignorant? I had you down as a brighter fella than that KP. I have long gone past worrying what others think as it makes no difference but at least i do not post hate on socials. I just do not enjoy it fella. Only 13 seats left in south/southwest stands this morning, so apart from segregation it should be bouncing, hopefully only on the home side. I sat in the south stand yesterday for the first time only because I’ve done my Achilles and wasn’t sure about manoeuvring myself up and down the terraces of the thatchers. There’s still no stalls in the concourse yet , all they had was a mobile bar with two serving it took 15 minutes to get served and there were only 20 people in front of me when I joined the queue. The seating is very cramped , I’m only 5,9 and my knees were touching the seat in front of me which actually made my legs and achillies ache as well. Anyone taller than me would have found it even more cramped and if you’re over 6 ft then I’d forget it as there were blokes that tall sat on the diagonal luckily for them it wasn’t quite a sell out as if every seat had been full they literally wouldn’t have been able to sit down. The atmosphere was extremely quiet where I was sat , could only hear the derby fans who were loud. All in all not impressed with it at all , I suppose it’s increased the capacity which is good but I’ve got literally no other positives to say really.

Over a season that PPG would put us on 73 points. Plays offs or just outside. Taylor’s done a pretty good job in my opinion. If he can get to the play offs or just outside next season then I’ll be pretty happy about that , obviously there’s always going to be some that don’t like him, even DC had a few. How can Taylor have done "a pretty good job" when he's just carried on a similar run to Mangan, who had no previous managerial experience? The owners admitted they had a poor January, what was that down to, a poor scouting network etc, if so then why on earth was Chris Spendlove promoted? (Roady seems to have totally ignored JB's dodgy mate getting promoted) or the fact no senior players were interested in playing for MT? We now face a massive summer rebuild, I'm not convinced GF & MT are up to the task, looking at Rotherham this season then MT messed up totally last summer with the biggest budget they'd ever spent. Mangan did a pretty good job and then Taylor took over and has done a pretty good job. Perhaps it feels like they’ve done better than they have because we were so awful under Barton other than a short spell were we won promotion and then there was garner , Tisdale before that. Taylor’s PPG is decent enough considering he’s only had a jan window where there were no staff in the building to aid him.

22 points from 17 league games. This from the manager who said: "...there's a reason why I took this job and that group of players is one of the main ones." OK then. 25 points. Plus we're higher in the table than we were 17 games ago (one place admittedly, but that's still a *bit* better) Who knows what's actually going on with the current group of players in the dressing room? Not us, as Taylor keeps it all in-house, which is a good thing - far better than the previous regime - but Taylor leading this group of players has not seen the club fall down the table into the relegation battle that many on here were predicting...

We’re crying out for pace and strength in our team. Conteh was exactly what we needed in midfield , very good signing but out wide we’ve got full backs that are average league 1 players in hoole and Gordon , that’s not knocking them we are mid table so they’re par for our course this season but to push in to the top 6 next season we need better and we need pace and movement up front also. Up front Martin has been brilliant but obviously that it won’t last and we’ve got no pace up front either side of him either. In the summer we need to sign 2 or 3 quick wide attacking players.- release Sinclair 1 or 2 strikers release - Marquis A left back who Gordon would be back up to. A right back who hoole would be back up to I rate hunt but his best days are gone and constantly injured. A centre half who’s good enough but not on his last legs to partner Connor. Another Finley type in midfield but younger like the conteh signing full of energy but more creative. Obviously loans in other key areas as well. With everyone fit the squad this season we would be pushing for top 6 but Barton signed aging players who have missed large parts at key times which is why we’re mid table.

Oi let’s all try and get on for fu*ks sake. We all support the same club we all want that club to succeed and we’ve all got our own opinions on how we should go about that and we’re untitled to those opinions. But nobody in here wants to read Gasheads tearing strips off each other in a bitchy way. it devalues what we are about as a fanbase. We just lost to a team with one foot in the promotion door. Be realistic.

Men against boys today , ripped apart by pace and power. Miles off what’s needed to mount a promotion challenge. At least 4 key signings needed next season. I think we all knew we were miles off of being a promotion side before today though. With everyone fit we’re a top half team maybe 6th but our squad is aging and massively injury prone which is why we’re mid table. If we had the likes of friend , Wilson Sinclair etc in their prime we’d be top 6 maybe even top 2 but Barton clearly went for promotion or bust this season with experience as they’ve mostly been either aversge due to their age or injured or both of those things and it didn’t work out which has left Taylor with a big job in the summer.

They were 3rd at the start of the game today , have a championship stadium and budget. We’ve looked average most of the season which isn’t punching above or below our weight for league 1. Derby should be embarrassed that they’re league 1. They were better today but so they should be. They’re a bigger club than the sh** and everyone on here keeps saying they’re miles ahead of us so there you go. Derby had lost 9 games before today, they are hardly running away with the league this season? Although Wilson and Hunt get some stick for their injury records this season we never seem the same team without them. Plus we also lost probably our player of the season LT and his, replacement, Vale, doesn't seem the same player since his mystery/strange illness. Dropping Brown given his recent form seemed an odd move as well. I agree with all of that but my point was that Derby are a bigger club with a better budget and theyre 23 points ahead of us and should 100% be winning promotion this season or their season will be considered a complete F*ck up.

Outclassed today unfortunately by a team who haven't looked much more than just above average in this division? They were 3rd at the start of the game today , have a championship stadium and budget.
