That's not true though is it. If the club were made aware that no fans were going to turn up because they were all united against a new appointment they would be gone. Fans have successfully boycotted clubs over player transfers in the past and the player sacked. David Goodwillie being an example. We don't know what would happen if JBs appointment was boycott. But we know that we are where we are because of JB. I'm just pleased that all those who have boycotted our club since Joey was appointed have missed the best football since the Holloway days and probably one of the greatest days in our history whilst you were probably out shopping with the Mrs.

Over 5000 on Instagram have thanked Joey, the haters on here are in the minority. Think they are in the majority on the other forum judging by the gloating. Still, at least the attendance tomorrow will be boosted by half a dozen or so - provided they can manage to use the electronic turnstiles installed since their last visit. To those who have stayed away since Joey left please don't bother coming back, we don't need you and you have shown you are not a true Gashead. Only a true Gashead would support the club whoever is in charge, carry on doing whatever else you've been doing for the last 2 an a half years, probably out shopping.

Expecting a lot of ( We want our Joey back ) from the Thatchers End tomorrow. Majority of fans are not happy and if Dean Holden or Steve Cotterall is appointed there will be uproar.

It's a good job we didn't all boycott the club when Joey got appointed or we would not have no club to support....have you thought of that?

This afternoon’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Bristol Rovers is set to go ahead with a further, precautionary pitch inspection is set to take place at 12.30pm.
The club asked for an FA referee to inspect the pitch at The Valley on Friday afternoon. The referee decided that the game should go ahead as planned, on the condition that there was a morning pitch inspection to evaluate the impact the overnight conditions had on the pitch.
That second pitch inspection took place on Saturday morning at 10am with today’s referee Sam Allison. Allison was satisfied that more than half the pitch is playable already and was confident that the work of the club's staff and improving weather will have a positive impact on the remaining areas of the pitch, which he will review again, as a precaution, at 12.30pm
The club will keep supporters updated with progress.

I am a season ticket holder and they can't all be sold out already! If you are a season ticket holder in the East Stand, it will be reserved for you to buy. Go into your profile If you have a season ticket anywhere else, then I am not sure. Guess you have to wait until people have had a chance to claim their seats I am a season ticket holder in the West Stand so that explains why I can't get a ticket over there as they will obviously have first option there. I will just have to wait until Wednesday probably to get a seat there, no problem really.

Just tried to book my ticket but there are no options to book a seat, only standing options available at the moment? If you're trying for East Stand I think most seats are already taken by Season Ticket holders who have until 5pm Tuesday to purchase Rochdale tickets. I am a season ticket holder and they can't all be sold out already!

We are so lucky to have Joey at the helm. He knows exactly what he wants to get us back in League one again. We are in for a very exciting season and we will be coming straight back up, no doubt about that. He will get the crap players out and bring committed players to this club who will be proud to wear the shirt. The majority of the fanbase is behind him and I won't be surprised to see 8-10,000 at our first home game. Really excited for the future with somebody in charge who actually knows what he is doing! Hold on tight for an exciting season with a team that can score goals and actually defend. Happy days to come and the Mem will be rocking come August!

We are so lucky to have Joey, he knows exactly what he wants and what he will need to get us back in League one. The money will also be there to bring in the right players to make us all proud again. Although I feel gutted to have been relegated I actually feel really excited about the new season! He isn't going to bring in anybody unless they meet his exact requirements, so roll on August. What makes you think the money will be there? We have Wael, that's why
