(And if he scores and Sod’s law is that he will I am still pleased he’s nothing to do with us any longer.) UTG! If he plays alongside Ishmael Miller, that will be sod's law overload. Ish Miller scored his only hat trick at the Mem

With regard Gateshead. Aldershot retain National League status. Wonder if they would like to keep Mensah?

That wasn’t a Scissor kick straight into the top corner by any chance? If so, that was one of the goals of the season by a mile. Braintree, Simeon Akinola tore Rovers up for ass paper. They also had Bernard Mensah playing for them

Never mind the points deduction, Bury players stayed loyal for the promotion push, will they stay for another dose of no pay? Their contracts must be non-binding.

Why don't the club use the car park on non-match days as a park and shuttle to Southmead Hospital if they want to make money, instead of milking supporters.

Surprised he's taking Stewart. Who ever took over strikers coach job did at least as well with players already here + JCH!

I don't get the moaning about 'Coventry cast offs' tbh, without Agogo and JCH we would have gone down last season. If he's anywhere near as good a signing as those 2 players were then I welcome it. Agogo made no impact last season. In fact I didn't even notice him. Opposition players noticed Ogogo and felt his impact.

Delighted for Gaffers. Always gave everything for us. The wives of Salford might be in for a busy night tonight... How Gaffers gone from a Div 1 player to a late sub for a Conference side, assuming Salford will now spend a fortune bringing in more players where does that leave Gaffers now, as I can't see a league club will want to sign him after a poor season in the NL. Let's hope the 2nd half is an improvement in the Derby v Leeds game, as it's like watching Rovers v Wycombe at the moment. I'd swap Payne for him.

Hopefully they will go into administration and get a big points deduction and stay well below us next season, Oxford are facing another winding up order they have a court case pending in the summer after yet again failing to pay their ground rent, so they could also have points deducted if they go into administration, then still don't know what is happening over Coventry, just need one more club perhaps Bury and we could start the season well clear of the bottom four. If the four relegation places were decided by points deduction it would be a pretty boring season for the majority of clubs; unless it led to, relieved of fear, an all or nothing free flowing attacking style. Hang on a mo Linesy.

Can't see any money for Leon Clark while still paying Payne.

Charlton from L1. So next seasons top six will be Sunderland, Pompey, Ipswich, Rotherham, Peterboro and Rovers.

I'm now beginning to wonder how much friction there was between DC and GC.

Bonham has to be a priority. Too many times in the past 10 years have we been relying on loan goalkeepers. Signing Bonham would actually show some real intent from the owners Only because the ones we signed were too poor.

Loved Linesy's runs from midfield. Just hope GCs "They shall not pass" was this season only

Your memory of his first leaving is wrong. He did 'stay around' - he played pre-season 2011/12 & the first game of the season, and then was told the club (under Paul buckle) were going to sell him. How true that was. After he was on the bench at Wimbledon I believe. Yes, and when Rovers were awarded a penalty, Buckle was shouting from the touchline he wanted Virgo to take it instead of Lines. Luckily Virgo mis-kicked it and scored.

Smith 6.5 Not really tested
J.Clarke 7 Solid today Lockyer 9 Captains performance Craig 8 Size of opposition didn't bother him Kelly 6.5 Did well enough, got into their penalty area once.
Rodman 8.5 Had to wait to the last game to see what a fit Rodman brings. Ogogo 7 Makes the opposition afraid O.Clarke 8 Must be after the Captains job, didn't disappear today Upson 7 Worked well, few stray balls Sercombe 7 Very good last 20 minutes
Jacubiak 7 Up against 2 defenders most of the time, better with a partner
Reilly 5 Should have scored Lines 9 Does not fit in to GC's "ils ne passeront pas" system Kilgour NOL
GC 6 Got a win out of 0-0 selection Crowd 9 Two hours extra in the pub really helps
Barnsley 5 Big, Strong, Never really troubled Rovers even with 11. Least skillful of the top six.
Ref 7 one of the better ones, pity about his assistant ref linesman.
