So is it category A or normal prices? Big Six game obviously. Surprised it wasn't obvious, just like those huge matches and massive rivalries we have with Bolton Wanderers, Ipswich Town, Portsmouth, Sunderland and errrrr Lincoln City I guess Bury and Bolton will be Cat C. How will that work, for season ticket holders, if those games are cancelled?

Jaakkola 7 Goalie get's a 7 for a clean sheet even if he hasn't had to work for it.
Davies 7 Jaakkola can thank him for making it an easy night. Craig 7 Too much experience for Tranmere Kilgour 7.5 Few more performances like this and scouts will be swelling the gate.
Hare 7.5 Wingback suited him, great crossing Clarke 6.5 Good spells but still had to look hard for him at times Upson 7 Best of the centre midfield trio Ogogo 6.5 Much the same as Clarke Leahy 7 Again wingback seemed to suit him.
Smith 7 Probably better than Jackubiak or Telford, Clarke-Harris 7.5 Closest Rovers have had to a proper center forward since Rickie Lambert
Subs: Bennett 4 No significant contribution Adeboyejo 5 OK, replacing JCH is hard Nichols 4 Had the chance to launch is goal scoring career; but he missed.
GC 6 It was 9 man Tranmere, still looked narrow and sideways at times. I think he could have risked Rodman for 15 minutes to drag wide what was left of Tranmers defence.
Crowd 7 I bet a lot like me who were thinking about not going last night, but glad we did. Ref 7 Had his work cut out with Tramere bruisers Tranmere 6 Showed their L2 pedigree. Played better as their numbers reduced, glad they didn't get any more sent off.

It was Russell Osman and Kevin Broadhurst that brought Rambo in to keep us up. Ian Atkins was in the background doing most of the recruitment during the caretaker stewardship of Broadhurst and Osman. Andy Rammel was the season before. Graydon got him from Wycombe. Rammel played for Walsall when Graydon was manager, probably the reason why Graydon was successful there. I remember Rambo giving basic instructions to players, just showed the lack of coaching.

Cogs got lucky with JCH, just like Graydon did with Rammel. Don't like the way he seems to discard players, seems Rodman has gone that way now.

Oxford manager apparently meeting a prospective loan striker in Oxford tonight. Looks like Matty may have made his mind up after Lee's comments in the week and yet another game out of the squad today. The cynic in me makes me think they are waiting until just before our game to announce it No need to be a cynic, Lansdown would cover his wages to have him score against Rovers.

You just know that w**ker Stefan Payne will score against us, might wack £20 on it just to ease the pain. I reckon Rovers had to cover a large part of Paynes wage to induce Tranmere to sign him. Surely there would have been a clause that he couldn't play against Rovers.

In defense of GC, the early sub of Little because of injury probably stopped any tactical change until late in the game. He is defensive minded, and sets up a "they shall not pass" back four, which seems to work.
But the "they shall not pass" also applies to his midfield selection, with what they do with the ball. In his pre-match talk he said about competing physically with Wycombe. But that is all he's got anyway in midfield. If he was worried about physical Wycombe why did he pick Nichols.
I think he's a John Ward with a couple of decent players, who, if they stay fit will keep us in this league; with the help of points deductions to other clubs.
So, he may keep the club up, not so sure about keeping the fans on the terraces.

I agree with most of your post but for them fielding a weakened team, as it would, in fact, be the strongest they have available. To be able to start the game, they must have at least seven players, one being a goalkeeper. Dr Gas you are right, it is their strongest team. The EFL has allowed the whole situation to drift and they find themselves in this position of being damned if they throw them out by them or damned by other teams for letting it drift and certain teams being disadvantaged. In the circumstances it means that teams playing them early, in August, are at an advantage compared to teams who play them later and that can’t be right. Because of the poor rules regarding financial stuff, or the incompetence of the EFL or any other reason it means that the L1 competition kicks off tomorrow and two teams are not in a position to participate and I just feel that the whole integrity of the league is seriously damaged. I feel for any club who will find themselves disadvantaged by this and just hope it’s not us. UTG! Yes, by October they will either have sorted themselves out or be closed down. And there's always out of contract players they could pick up.

Wish one of them were playing Rovers, it's eight years since we've started with three points

Anyone catch the BBC 5 live interview this morning with the Charlton trainer. I know Rovers players wear GPS trackers during a game, but what he was going on about with specific energy monitoring to suit positions, styles and injury problems seemed more like the space programme than football. Makes me wonder about THD if Charlton could't get him fit.

Two seasons ago my Sister in law got a full refund due to ill health. You have to do it before the first (home?) game. Don't know if you need a reason. Sale of goods act should apply.

The earlier you play Bolton or Bury the easier it will be, up against scratch teams. If they get themselves sorted there will be plenty of decent players without clubs they could sign after the deadline. Not sure October is soon enough.

Little and Ollie have come off - hope it's nothing serious. It's a friendly. "No such thing as a friendly in my book" Phil Baters reply to opponents complaint after clattering him in a charity match.

He was unplayable that night. One of the best performances I've seen from an opposition player that night, and yet my standout memory of that game is still the blackthorn chanting Goodnight Irene at 5-1 down and my mate who was a neutral standing next to me couldn't believe that we were still so loud despite being hammered. First goal was offside and Joe Jacobson had a stinker. He would have saved Yeovile if Johnson hadn't upset him.
