I'll keep posted etc but I'm not bothered about the FA Cup anymore. Just a good run out for match fitness in my opinion Not interested certainly applies to nearly every Championship club. Most Premier reserve sides should have enough talent to deal with L1/2 first teams but maybe not the desire. There's a time coming when a L1 side will win the FA cup. |

Don't know about being lifted over the turnstiles, but at a local derby at trashton they closed the turnstiles, then the police opened the gates and let about another 500 in.

Some porky pies from the tweeter there. Couldn’t possibly have been 2:55pm, I was stood in front of the middle set of bars (right where that coat is hanging over) and took my place at 2:25pm, yet nowhere to be seen in this photograph. It was far busier than that come kick off. If there were tickets available on Sat, they would have been for the East terrace. Probably why it filled up late. |

Rovers treating FA cup the same as JPT, only opening half the ground. Think it's a mistake, unless they intend to put a second team out, which will be a second mistake.

Peter Shilton saved just 3 penalties in his career. If there had been a sub left in 1990 I would have used Dave Beasant for the shootout.

The system for delivering the ST card is appalling for something of the value of up to nearly £500, not even signed for. So you don't know if it's even been posted, or gone to a wrong address and someone else using it.

The season ticket used to cover Football Combination game as well, so it was a decent crowd. Remember watching a reserve game against West Ham, Rovers were 4 down at half time, finshed 4 all, what a game!

Now there was a player who loved nothing more than intimidating opposing players, heard some crazy stories of Ronnie from a former player and mate, some salty training sessions were never far away either it seems! Seem to remember Mauge and Plummer swinging at each other in one game. |

I now have two cards, one from last season and one just arrived in the post, neither work, I'm in the West terrace, the guys on the turnstiles always let me through so what's stopping anyone with two cards like myself or an old card with someone who didn't renew their ticket going through for free. The staff on the turnstile can tell if it is an old card, i accidently tried to get in with my old card got it muuddled up with my new one, it didn't work the chap on the turnstile looked at it said that is your old card and took it away from me then i found the new one and got in ok. At 2.50, the Qs are so long the staff are just glancing at tickets. |
