Right.....we are 4 points off auto with 8 to play. Injury strikes all of our strikers, having to play beard upfront. Matt Taylor has scored 38 for BCFC but has a dramatic change of heart, comes out publicly on TV burning a city shirt and begs Rovers fans for a pay as you play contract after ripping up his city contract.... Would you have him back? If DC signs him I doubt it makes any difference what we think anyway, but who wouldn't cheer when he scored his first goal if he did return? Personally I'd sooner he played for us rather than against us for Oxford etc. I would accept him playing if he offered to do 1hr on a torture rack as pennance. Then a night in the stocks. after which he would be accepted back.

Lol. We are just as fickle as he is.
While they play for us they are heroes. If they play for them they are villains. If they play for anyone else no one cares.

Anyinsah was a good footballer but he had a chronic injury problem. Fair play to him as he was never anything like 100% but played through it. He was a lazy f**ker Rubbish

Yes he is. Although he scored a goal every 265 minutes last season, which is the same as Ellis, so his game is going to need some work.

If we have got a decent budget, and if wwe knew we needed the number of players that were mentioned, why have we only got 2 first team players in so far ? When the number of playersthe club wanted were announced they must have had specigic players in mind. What is worrying me is that we do need quality if we are to progress. In some ways, our team of the past 3 seasons temonds me of the team that won promotion under Francis. The team then was assembled on a shoe string budget and one could argue over achieved. The difference now is that we have money (well so we're told). The team has done well to get to L1 but we cannot rely on teenage loan signings and bargain basement players from the conference to get into the championship. f**king corbyn Francis team assembled on a shoe string correct., but over achieved? For "arguments" sake correct me if I'm wrong but didn't every single player (with the exception perhaps of Ian Alexander ) go on the play in the top flight of the football pyramid? One player in each of the accepted positions of a team formation. One even went on to play for England. I repeat "over achieved" I think not Vaughan Jones.Geoff Twentyman.Andy Reece,Carl Saunders,Percy Purnell.David Mehew don't think any of those went on to pla top flight football. The only ones whe did were Martin.Yates.Holloway.Penrice and White

To have half the team go on and play top flight football is still impressive. I can't see any of our current squad going on to do that. Football has changed some what since 1990 though.

Isn't the Championship the new "top flight" as far as most British players are now concerned?
