Pirate, you do like Bradley Fewster having mentioned him several times. I would have thought that he would have been signed by now if he was on DCs list being available on a free. Do you know him, have you seen him and would he be a MT type of player or a larger No 9? Christian Doidge another good player but again not sure he's on DCs radar to be signed. Time will tell. I don't know where this idea that FGR will get relegated comes from. I suspect it is more a wish rather than an expectation. They will spend a bit of money if they're in trouble and they have a very good manager for league 2. I don't have this hatred of them that others do. Up until we got relegated I always looked out for their result wanting them to do well. Now they are it would seem a bit silly to wish them ill. For a village team they have done very well to get where they are. Lots of NL teams have had money but few have used it as well as them. I dont see them as a threat and don't really consider them at all but don't think they will go down. But as I've said several times I don't live in Bristol or South Gloucestershire now and perhaps I'd feel differently if I did. UTG! Fewster has been described as a "fox in the box" and during his loan at struggling York his manager at the time, Jackie McNamara, said: "He's scored some important goals for us and if we create opportunities for the kid, he will score them. It's as simple as that, he's a great finisher." He is right footed but can score off both feet and had a record of 3 goals in 7 apps for England U17, 5 goals in 3 apps for England U18 and 4 goals in 5 apps for the England U19 side.

Think you may misunderstood I never said they would get relegated i said there's a possibility they could relegated which would also apply to every other club in league 2 theres always that possibilty Like wise with the gas we know all to well how a few bad results can land you in the mire how many times has it happened to the gas in the past

No it's not just you toggsy. I've just been surprised with the amount of time people have been obsessing almost with FGR. I get it that people don't like Dale Vince and his model of football ownership and how he does things. I don't particilarly but my point was whilst some might not like it it has been effective and I guess that way was the only way a village club was going to get into the league. I don't think they will get relegated though I agree there are never any guarantees and as you say there is always a possibility. But please don't think I was responding to what you said it was more the overall impression I was getting about "Rovers are big, FGR are small" on a few threads on here since Saturday. And we know where that leads don't we? It was bordering on the obsessive I thought. And was totally unnecessary. FFS it was a friendly just after getting off a plane! Hope that clears it up, no problems with your posts! UTG!

Thats just it people get so worked up about friendly results it's a work out ffs TBF think they will have a good following considering the size of the club and I don't think they won't be the bottom of the attendance league Accringtons average was 1700

You sure you got that right, Sean? Yes Billy Bob is left footed, plays wide right and cuts in..........

Sean, Mr Bodin is right-footed and cuts in and (often) shoots/scores with his left. DC says we need the opposite...ie. someone who is left-footed and cuts in and shoots/scores with his right. I must be missing what you're saying?

I must be missing what you're saying? Bodin plays on the right wing but he's left footed. I think what pirate meant to say was a "left winger" who cuts in on his right (the opposite to what BBB does) , not necessarily a "left footer". Now can this conversation end there? I feel like I'm catching a disability just from reading it.
