Too easy. Take the wind out of The Consortium's sails. Simple. A ten million quid p1ss take is nothing when you own a bank! You just won't accept it will you - they DONT own a bank - Wael & Hani between them hold barely an 8% shareholding. A long way from owning a Bank. B0ll0x! They've got the keys! They can dip in and grab a handful any time they like!

Yet more "confidentiality" bullsh*t I expect. Just move over and let a group of nameless, faceless, motiveless investors whose modus operandi is opening commercial negotiations by way of rumour take over Wael you amateur.
Just out of interest what motivation do you feel Wael had in taking over BRFC?
Easy He wanted to better his best mate a Chelski and not just buy a franchise but develop his club into a World Class outfit

When the project started there was a big fanfare, TV coverage and interviews etc. Most of us were excited by the project. Then silence for 6 months apart from Hamer saying it would be operational for 2018/19 pre-season which is now very unlikely. The lack of detail and apparent delays means an excuse is needed for the lack of communication and it seems local sensitively is the excuse being used or from your perspective perhaps the reason. Whether it's an excuse or reason there certainly seems to be more caution and less communication than when the land was acquired. Sorry, you haven't actually said what you believe to be going on? You have challenged the story from the club but then bizarrely not offered an explanation as to what you feel is actually happening? "This pen is blue" "No it isn't you're lying!" "What color is it then?" "I don't know, I am color blind" Sorry, this is far too existential for me to grasp...my guess is the correct answer is 'I don't know, I am colour blind' but that might be an excuse to keep you quiet. Trust that clarifies everything.

New Stadium - hit the buffers.
New Training ground - no real news - and this is how things started to become with the new stadium.
You can't dress it up - not good.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't, I assume if they were just lying S Glos could now just come out and say they are not aware of any on going pre-application consultantions taking place. I still can't see the ALQ's spending £m's on a training ground until they've sorted out the stadium development, assuming they ever do!

See nothing wrong with today's statement
I for one would not commence work on a project without planning permission , plenty of people have tried that in the past and not only ended up with egg on their face but have had to tear down what they have already constructed without the necessary permissions. We have obviously passed on what we want to do over and above the previous planning permission for the site and are waiting on the councils guidance as regards whether any application will be successful. Commonsense I would say and nothing fishy as far as I am concerned.

What have we actually applied for permission to build? Memory tells me it was a very small scale ' club house'. Am i being unfair?

The submission i viewed online was very underwhelming

The original PP granted was an amendment to what was previously submitted and passed to remove a couple of clauses that were not beneficial to BRFC to enable the purchase to go through, as there is no point purchasing land that we wouldn't have been able to use satisfactorily

What have we actually applied for permission to build? Memory tells me it was a very small scale ' club house'. Am i being unfair? I think that's part of the point of the pre-planning consultation. We basically need to know what sort of stuff they'd be prepared to let us build, and how. There's no point us applying to build a 5,000 sqm massive thing, if they will only want a 1,000 sqm thing. And similarly there's no point in us applying for a shiny silver finish, if they only want subdued natural colours, for example.
