Yeah, but the food and drink is sh**, right? That's legitimate to say so. Or should we just accept it? As I said before , I don't eat at the mem. But there are more important things in life then a f**king pasty! If you don't like it , don't buy it ! So yeah just accept it and move on. I go to rovers to watch football not for the food , if I wanted to eat nice food I would go to a decent restaurant, not a grotty pasty hut. another thread that's turned in to a commentary on the food they sell at the mem. www.pastychat.co.uk

Any comments to make about the three wins the team has had in the last week or is it just normal service from you and just another post to slag off our owners and chairman. UTG! I'm more concerned about off the field developments, whilst the recent performances have been encouraging the long term future of this football club depends on it's ability to put in place the essential infrastructure that most other clubs seem to be able to manage. Stop burying your head in the sand and start waking up to the reality that it won't happen with this board. ok. It won't happen with this board. I accept it. Do you feel better now?

been a good old day for moaning on here , let's have a look back at today's top whinging subjects 1) food overpriced and not very nice 2) thatchers also not very nice 3) upset as club did not accept a £50 note 4) and back to the conspiracy theories on the training ground! Anything I've missed ?? Yeah, but the food and drink is sh**, right? That's legitimate to say so. Or should we just accept it? A matter of opinion as with everything else I think. I purchased food and drink at the ground and it was perfectly lovely and served in a timely and courteous manner. I was a bit watered off that they wouldn't accept it when I tried to pay with the Wittelsbach Graff Diamond. I asked them if they had change for 500 grams of 24 carat gold bullion but did they f**k. Tin pot.

I had one of the £1.50 post match pasties. I'm not sure I was happy paying £1.50 for it but I can understand the state it was in come full time.

You have to get there 20 mins after they open. It's about sustainability, any unbought foodstuffs are converted in to charcoal to fuel the oven for the next game.

This lot have moved the club forward more in a year than those guys did in 10! Look at our backroom staff and youth set up ffs.

Quite happy to give our present owners some more time after only 18 month in charge, after all what did the previous owners do in the 58.5 years before they arrived. Nothing!

Higgs actually had two plans, both were scuppered by the changing economic environment and some shoddy legal work. Both stadium projects were financed, the credit crunch put paid to the student accommodation financing and the changing retail situation (along with the subsequent delay because of the jr) put paid to uwe financed by sains. The plans were fine, the problem was he didn't foresee any problems so we were blasé on the legal side. Higgs had nowhere near the wealth of the al qadi's so had to think outside the box re financing. The al qadi's have no intentions of providing the finance required to build a new stadium, they have just bought a piece of real estate on the cheap with a football club attached.

Fair play to the Dunfords for what they did there but nothing else to shout from the rooftops I would suggest.

Fair play to the Dunfords for what they did there but nothing else to shout from the rooftops I would suggest. Pretty shrewd dealings in the transfer market kept us solvent for 20 years. And they acquired a piece of real estate for 2.5m now probably worth 15m. Dunford and higgs were only modestly wealthy compared to the al qadi's. The new owners have invested nothing. Why buy a football club that needs a new stadium when you aren't prepared to invest the necessary funds to build one.

That's the club that NH sold to them wasn't it? As for your opinion, why not ask Wael yourself? He usually answers questions on Twitter. Us acquiring the Mem wasn't great work by the BoD, it was the misfortune of the Rugby club. Plus if you look deeper, the white knight could have kept them at the Mem had he wished to.

Are we talking about the club or the Managerial merry go round that NH entertained which eventually dropped us out of the football league?
