Looked shocking in the warm up, hence such a ferocious backing for him from the blackthorn as he needed it. Us fans were bricking it expecting to concede another 4! He didn't freeze which would have been so easy to do! He didn't look orthodox but he did what was needed with the help of a never say die team in front of him! He actually made a very good reaction save from a rovers defender deflection- like a cat in that instance. He must be so happy! He was celebrating like mad when we scored! He will not be sleeping tonight! Well done gasheads we made that happen for him! Great spirit! This is why I love the gas! Xxx

It must really tough as a young goalkeeper to make your debut because the senior keeper has been sent off. AAjr did brilliantly despite being a bit shaky. I loved how Browner, Sweeney and Locks kept reassuring him and patting him on the back - that culture and spirit is so important. Also pretty much all of our staff and players shaking his hand at the whistle was fantastic.

He made that deflected shot look so easy , a lot of keepers wouldn't have got a hand to it let alone two and catch it. Came for his crosses well too I wouldn't be too worried if he started v Oldham.

DC said the players gave him a round of applause back in the dressing room. Well done young man.

He'll certainly never forget that today. And I'm not sure the rest of us will either!

Wasn't there today but from what I've seen of him on the warm up before Fleetwood I'd have been pretty nervous seeing him come on. Fair play to him in what must have been a bit of a shock.

Looked a bit nervous at the start which was understandable grew with confidence mainly down to the crowd giving him that encouragement which he so badly needed. Fair Play to Ellis for the encouragment he gave to Andre at the end I'm not sure if anyone else spotted it but as the players were coming off saw Ellis say to Andre "Lap it up" Also great acknowledgement from DC regarding Andre's performance when he was leaving the pitch

I don't suppose anyone will believe me,but round about half time I was idly daydreaming & the thought entered my mind that what if AA had to come on - how would he fare? Would he cope? Now I know!

Proud of the gas fans and the team today, we really got behind him and he needed it. He was obviously not ready but did the job and I genuinely thing the fans made a difference. Proper backed him. Got his confidence up immediately. Well done all!

Funny, but I thought he was cooler than any of us on the Thatchers End. And as for the crap about the warm up, if you go by that we'd only put out half a team. Even Bodin struggles to score in the warm up, and don't think Gaffers ever has.
Guess what guys, IT DONT MATTER TILL THE KICK OFF.

Yeah I've been goalkeeping all my life and I usually let a shot through my legs or slip under me in the warm up but I'm pretty reliable once the match kicks off. In a strange kind of way you think " got that one out of the way before kick off".

I don't understand why in such a great moment you try to pick an argument and have to be a patronising so and so! I was a keeper myself and his technique on saving low shots is awful - he does it in 2 motions and not a quick one motion hence I said he looked shocking in the warm up! Up high he looks strong tho! I was just setting the scene ahead of his special moment as to how we the fans probably felt and therefore why he had great backing. Yes all that matters is the game time but he still has plenty to learn but in the same breath, I am overjoyed for the lad as it couldn't have gone any better for him!
