Feel a bit ashamed to say but this season i have just felt so flat about the club. After the whole UWE thing and lack of having a real pop at league 1 and the slow start has just left me feeing a bit meh !! Maybe its just one of those things after a few interesting seasons but just wondered if anyone else admits to feeling the same ? Maybe its the lack of alcohol in my life. Coming over a bit entitled there mate. This is sport not entertainment, there will always be ups and downs and quiet times.
'interesting' seasons!

Big week for the club to steady the ship.
DC needs to be more consistent for me, find strong core and keep it the same for 90 minutes. If we are back to conceding goals for fun then he can say be told us so. apologies for mmimg same comments, but please keep same 11 that finished on Saturday.
Need to be seen to making strides, and picking up points where we can. The crowds will keep coming back. the fact that we got 8400 after a poor start I would say is a testament to the support.
However winter is coming, and people won't be so keen to watch struggling side in the rain. Oldham was the lowest I've felt watching the gas in years.
Keeps things simple and don't change a winning team, good footballers like to be on the pitch and will play on through "tired legs".

All the players except lockyer must really hate playing under dc by your logic as hes changed a winning team most times we have won. Hes also clearly communicated his thinking on selection and the squad so the only way to satisfy your wishes and some others would be to change the manager.

He kept a more settled side the second half of the conference season and the L2 season if my memory is correct, not sure last season after we sold Taylor.

Your right in the main though i have a book called "the long road back"about the conference season and the wingers and who partners taylor up front were changed frequently. We have had a large cluster of games, picked up injuries, international call ups and suspensions which hasnt exactly helped the manager. Some posters want dc to keep picking the same team but they would soon be crying when they found out it wasnt the team they thought he would pick. Lets face it whatever style a manager has when your near the top of the league its right, near the bottom its wrong.
