1st half totally agree, the second half was well deserved 2 1 would've been fair Where the hell has Ollie Clarke gone? It's like playing with a man down he's become so lazy, missed sercombe the first half ,I would drop Clarke for Pompey and get the beard back From everything we know about Ollie Clarke, built up over a good few years now, one thing we can say for certain is he is not lazy. Like Partington, I suspect he is playing because we need him too, but is actually carrying an injury. load of rubbish,he's been a weak link in midfield most the season,so easy to beat and doesn't chase after a man that's just beaten him As soon as sercombe came on with his energy it changed the game,dc is too loyal to some players

Tin hat on you need a suite of armour what game did you watch the officials were terrible As previously stated game of opinions, thought he tried to keep the game moving and I didn't disagree with many of his decisions even with my blue tinted glasses on. Did you even open your eyes?

There's no way DC will play that back four again, unless we have similar injuries/suspensions. Well that's criminal s we didn't concede for 45 minutes. No one who has missed out today deserves to walk back into the side. Can't see DC playing 4 left footers across the back, out of choice.

It looked "iffy" for the first 30 minutes then we were fine. Blackpool were very fast on the break with wingers and wing backs but once we had worked them out the game was slightly in Rovers favour. The half-time substitutions tightened things up, my only query being why Nicholls was replaced as he seemed to be holding the ball up better than the other forwards- but saying that we scored twice more after he left the pitch! He had a very good 60 - but was tiring, so a good call by DC

Probably the worst game I've seen us play for ages. That first half Blackpool should have been out of site. Every player were off their game, we didn't have any height, think Lines was our tallest player till Sweeney came on. A very lucky 3 points IMO! 1st half totally agree, the second half was well deserved 2 1 would've been fair Where the hell has Ollie Clarke gone? It's like playing with a man down he's become so lazy, missed sercombe the first half ,I would drop Clarke for Pompey and get the beard back There are no lazy players in DCs teams - and yet people still come out with it ??

Gosling sometimes did. Monkey got accused of it (unfairly IMO).

the back 4 will hopefully stay how it finished for the next game. Bola more than competent t right back, like better than leads. Will have to question DC if he changes it again. Lockyer should have to wait for his chance to come back in for me. There's no way DC will play that back four again, unless we have similar injuries/suspensions. True. and maybe some people have forgot we have yet another Tuesday game. Locks will be back but we only had 17 senior players available today apparently.

Today proved beyond doubt they are wrong. Lines carried the midfield first half and if not for his break and fine pass for Bodin we would have gone in one down. Clarke might well have not turned up, hardly tackled, in fact hardly did anything all game. Our midfield was transformed when Sercombe came on and suddenly all the space Blackpool were given in the first half was nowhere to be seen and Lines and Sercombe had a field day.

I thought we were the better side from the 20 th minute or thereabouts and in that first twenty they scored their goal and in our 80 we scored our three. A good performance from the team today a good change of subs and tactics at half time from our manager who probably wouldn't be here if Wael hadn't bought the club, For the people moaning on here today about not being motivated because our new board have let us down I ask you would DC still be here if Wael wasn't or would we still have Billy Bodin ? Probably not because our new owners have brought this club on leaps and bounds bit by bit in this last 18 months they've paid the money to keep them here and they've put the background staff in place to ensure that we keep this squad of players together with their manager and he's a manager that has been outstanding for us.

From everything we know about Ollie Clarke, built up over a good few years now, one thing we can say for certain is he is not lazy. Like Partington, I suspect he is playing because we need him too, but is actually carrying an injury. Where is the evidence he is carrying an injury? I'm sorry but I'm not having that. He was annoymous today. Spot on GGMI and I will add lazy to that. Definitely runs around a lot avoiding getting anywhere near the ball most of the time and therefore unable to get tackles in when they are needed.

I sincerely hope he isn't prejudiced, I'm sure there are plenty of Protestants in other positions on the pitch!

Why do posters have to single out one player for criticism even when we win? What about Parts gifting Blackpool their first goal, Moore apparently deciding a dive was preferably to getting past his marker, or Nichols never looking like scoring again today. Why pick on a player who's the only fit DCM at the club? Why not just accept it was a good team effort today and move on to Tuesday.

It sounds weird saying this after a 3-1 win but the performance was poor; dont get me wrong the win is the main thing here.
I haven't been in the country enough to see that many games this season, but what has happened to the neat passing game we used to have?
I was quite impressed with Blackpool; they passed the ball well, had strength and pace down the wings taking on our full backs and (until the end) looked strong at the back. Their lad Vassell is exactly the type of player we could do with here. |We tried to over complicate things and a lot of passes went straight to a pool player.
Too many times in the first half we backed off and gave them too much space, O.Clarke may as well not been on the pitch and we seemed to panic when they got around our box. Milds should be coaching Slocombe how to keep his kicks on the pitch as almost every other one seemed to go for an opposition throw needlessly.
I have given Moore a lot of stick but I thought he was one of the better players in the first half and was one of the few that actually looked to take on his opponent. Also credit to Harrison, worked really hard today and tracked back a number of times as well as getting his goal.
I agree with the OP I dont know how we won that, but that doesnt matter as winning whilst not playing that well is surely a good sign.
Also does the pitch need that much watering? it doesnt look very good as it is without flooding it!!
