ive just answered it's not personal it's about performance and maybe a big reason why we've let in so many goal,no protection for the defence Would rather have Sinclair there chasing down and breaking up the play than Clarke in his current form, he needs a rest But I thought you said he was lazy oh here comes his wing man😂 Yeah he is at the moment he's not on his game, needs a rest on the bench

Rubbish but then again when you have no answer you revert to personal insults. Why do you think so many respected people have left both forums? ive just answered it's not personal it's about performance and maybe a big reason why we've let in so many goal,no protection for the defence Would rather have Sinclair there chasing down and breaking up the play than Clarke in his current form,he needs a rest [br Of course it was a personal comment made at myself for not cow towing to your expert knowledge. Thoroughly watered off reading some of the rubbish spouted and then the insults thrown at people with diverging ideas to yours as far as I am concerned you can keep your opinions they are of no interest to me

I know what your argument is and I respect it! Never in a month of Sundays did I think I'd ever be called Padstow's wing man He's got this one right, though.

Who played when he was out injured last season, how long would he need to be fit. Don't like players playing if an injury is holding them back and there is more chance he will break down and be out for longer than letting him recover properly.

Because football has changed and there are different types of strikers now, but I know what you're saying. I keep hearing that statement football has changed but it hasn't has it? The aim of the game is to score goals and stop your opponents scoring nothing more nothing less The aim has stayed the same, but there appears to be far more formations out there. When I first started watching the gas in the late 70's, I think nearly all teams played a 4-4-2 with 2 out and out strikers. But then again I was young and probably didn't take too much notice of formations.

Problem is that we finished the season with Lines and Sinclair. Sinclair is also still injured and our form dipped in April/May after Clarke got his injury anyway. Partington might be a good fit there, but of course, he's injured too. Not easy to find a solution at present, hence why Ollie has played every league game.

Wonder if we could play Lockyer there with the two big lads as centrebacks, the sooner we can get Ollie firing on all cylinders the better.

Lockyer has payed as a defensive midfielder for us but not in a long time.

Spot on GGMI and I will add lazy to that. Definitely runs around a lot avoiding getting anywhere near the ball most of the time and therefore unable to get tackles in when they are needed. Evidence from interviews with both manager and player in recent weeks still you know fans they have to have a whipping boy Now Ellis has started performing looks like ollie is next in line People will always have favourite players and those they feel are not good enough. Its always been the case at all clubs. The source of many post match debates amongst fans.
I could point out you refer to Ellis & Ollie on one hand and Sinclair and Lockyer for example on the other. Why not Tom and Stuart ? No need to defend the point ,most others do the same in some form or another. Just an observation.
