I am only here for the fans! That says it all for me. He is what we used to say, putting on a lot of front & fair play to him on that front. It’s very obvious that he is making the most of it & that he is not getting the backing and back up from above. That is how I heard it anyway. He said he had 3 choices fir every position he wanted during the summer so his comments on Aldi etc aren’t something new. I think we have a winged manager who is just unable to get the players he really wants and there is only the owners to blame for that. Maybe the owners would like us to go back to paying the players wage again ? There was me thinking we already did this by going to games. That interview has made me feel pity for DC. He’s been stitched right up as I view it I think we've all been stitched up KP

How come earlier on this season he stated "I have always got what I asked for from the Board"
Kidolegy in process; or was he talking about his own contract? F*cked if I know; where have all the ITK crowd gone to again?

We also got a bit for Blissett as well didn't we? He sounded upbeat in spite of the circumstances, like he said, we are doing it for the fans at the moment. "he feels let down"..."we need to raise our salaries to keep our best players"..."money talks doesnt it"..."we are a back to the wall club and it looks like thats continuing for the minute..." You don't say those kind of phrases in a pre match press conference if everything is rosy and you are happy... No Blissett contract was paid up and he went to Torquay but rumoured we paid £50 k plus for him when he signed so that was a transfer loss.

Tells us what we all suspected. January business will tell us where we really are. Fair play to DC for not hiding away, must be uncomfortable for the powers that be balls to the powers that be they’ve tucked dc right up with broken promises

That was not good listening!
Only here for the fans, nothing is happening (presumably on the training ground), we are where we are as a club and he can't see that changing.
Also, sounds like he knows BB isn't going to sign because we're not offering him enough cash.
DC is setting it up so that post January we will know exactly who is to blame!

He quoted previously that the board have always backed him so if he ain't happy perhaps he's off as well if they don't back him January

In this interview DC has effectively said to the board “Back me or sack me”. Worrying times.

If he can dig out a few wins between now and January DC will be right in the shop window for a new job when the usual sackings start happening. Equally if we keep losing and he gets the bullet the only difference will be the calibre of club he gets next. One things for sure he wouldn’t be out of a job long.
A prospective new club would take one look at what he’s achieved here and regardless of us being in a ropey position now they will say he’s over achieved.
Sad times but it seems to me DC has realised what we have all known for years. Without real ambition we’ll always just be bang average.
I’ve said before I’m not overly bothered about the prem, but surely we can do better than what we’ve currently got?

From a fans perspective I can't we can do any better until we get a decent ground, from a players prospective they need decent training facilities, the ALQ's really need to decide can they deliver those, if not, they really need to sell up and give somebody else a chance.

From this fan's perspective, I couldn't give a damn about the ground at the moment, but need to see investment in players from the "Waitrose List" this January. From the player's perspective, I suspect competitive wages are a higher priority than any new training ground.

Would you work in awful conditions without the proper facilities to excel at your job for a 5% rise in your wages? I know I wouldn't.

But our current (rented) training facilities are not awful - in fact they are fantastic compared with where we used to train at Hambrook. I'm suggesting that our owners have two more pressing priority than facilities at the moment: 1. Improving our squad 2. Retaining our best players Both to make sure we are not fighting against relegation at the end of the season.

Finally watched it and must admit I’m 😤😡 fuming!!! Sort it out wael or do one! I don't know anything about why we pulled out of the UWE deal, so I can't comment on that. But doing nothing as a Plan B, and spending nothing, other than lending money secured against the stadium, is potentially going to cost us our best manager in decades, and perhaps worse. Such a terrible lost opportunity for this club to finally go places.
