Disappointingly he is spot on and also sounds like an ultimatum...if owners wont pay BB what DC thinks he is worth and dont back atleast his mid range targets in Jan he will be gone. So many disappointing quotes.... bottom 6 for wages, nothing’s happening, only here for the fans. If anyone gets on to DC at any stage and want him gone you are absolutely clueless and will help destroy our club!

Sadly the truth is slowly finding its way out into the public domain . It looks to me as if DC is saying he and us have been sold up the river big time How much longer until we find out everything that has been going on behind closed doors ? Still when Saturday comes us faithful and true gasheads will still be there living in hope that our dreams will one day come true UTG

Finally watched it and must admit I’m 😤😡 fuming!!! Sort it out wael or do one! I don't know anything about why we pulled out of the UWE deal, so I can't comment on that. But doing nothing as a Plan B, and spending nothing, other than lending money secured against the stadium, is potentially going to cost us our best manager in decades, and perhaps worse. Such a terrible lost opportunity for this club to finally go places. I don’t think we will see wael in with the fans anytime soon! Lol! Keep the faith and all that jazz! Sigh 😔💙⚽️💙

You'd be wrong, training facilities are where they are going to be week in week out. Would you work in awful conditions without the proper facilities to excel at your job for a 5% rise in your wages? I know I wouldn't. But our current (rented) training facilities are not awful - in fact they are fantastic compared with where we used to train at Hambrook. I'm suggesting that our owners have two more pressing priority than facilities at the moment: 1. Improving our squad 2. Retaining our best players Both to make sure we are not fighting against relegation at the end of the season. We aren't comparing them with Hambrook though, we are comparing them with what other football league clubs have and they are awful in comparison. Retaining key players and adding to our squad is more important at this time but if we seriously want to improve the overall calibre of players at this club in the long term, we must have new facilities in place.

The Lawns at Cribbs have some of the best pitches in Bristol ! The only problem we have is that we are only allowed to use one to train on ! Agreed not good for a pro football club we need a training complex of our own

Respect to DC for his honesty and also the way in which he outs our owners for having no ambition and basically confirming what I and others have been saying on here for weeks and weeks regarding our owners and lack of spending their own money and paying bills etc. F@ck knows what they were really expecting when they bought this club but we as fans have well and truly had our pants pulled down , we massively over achieved last season and now this season it seems that our lack of decent signings obviously down to not wanting to part with decent cash is now having an effect on us , I suspect that we will possibly escape relegation this season but we will almost certainly be relegated next season at no fault to DC whatsoever and this will be down to the dry bread fraudsters we have at the helm . Bollicks to the AlQs.

If we've only spent £130k since march 2014 then I'm lost to all of the transfer fees stated on here, unless of course it means we've spent £130k more than we've earned in transfer fees....
Who knows....

Oh and another thing , if the rose tinters ever wanted more facts about our owners then DC provides it when he mentions about having a bottom 6 salary which totally contradicts what that lying c@nt Hamer said pre-season.

Another damning interview on things going on behind the scenes. I thought Hamer didn't clearly answer last week when asked if Bodin was going to be the highest earner at the club if he accepts a new contract. DC also seemed to have a dig about the Financial Fair Play system.

There have been too many pages on the BBC about stuff to do with Rovers that’s nothing to do with football. We’ve had DC on a few occasions and SH and Wael. Rather than wash our divided, dirty washing in public they should all be talking about it and sorting it out in private. Our opponents must be laughing! It’s almost as if we’re doing their managers team talk for them. Always support DC but he really should concentrate on getting our defenders to defend, our attackers to score and stop all this c***. From that article I hear that “we’ve always lived within our means” and it looks like we’re going to keep doing that. Well tbh thank goodness for that! Surely we don’t want to start spending beyond our means do we? That can only end one way and it’s not the Championship or League 1. I also take it that BB has rejected the clubs offer and DC is afraid he’ll be off. UTG!

Who knows.... I think that's what DC meant....we've spent £130k more than we've received in fees. It was quite a barbed comment, as if he wanted us to know how little he has to spend. Mind you, TN looks like it wasn't money well spent!

Looks like crunch time ain't too far away. Don't you sense we've already passed it, as only an idiot would talk about his employers in public like DC his now doing if he thought there was any future with them with. We must be the only club owned by billionaire investment bankers who have to shop at Poundland! Starting to think they thought they could force the UWE to give them the land for nothing and then got a shock when they stood their ground and held out for a decent price.

Will you be happy to watch Div 2 football next season as that seems where we're heading if we sell BB and then shop at Poundland? What's the point in having apparently rich wealthy owners if they aren't going to spend money on players, we may as well just become a locally owned community club like Exeter and accept Div 1 football will be our limit.

Thing is, agents run football now. Make no mistake DC's agent has been putting the feelers out for interest. The board have probably been contacted by agents with interested clients. Peter Beadle at Hereford?
There isn't much loyalty anymore from anyone....it's in the agents interest to keep their clients moving around.

Do you never read what people actually say Topper and not what you think they’ve said? Read what I’ve said in The Bye Bye Bodin thread. I’ve said we should keep him because whatever we got it would be nowhere near what we would lose if we went down. Now to this thread, we have to live within our means surely? We can’t spend money we don’t have can we or do you advocate spending money we don’t have. If we did that it would lead to disaster. Whether we have “apparently rich wealthy” doesn’t mean anything if they aren’t prepared to spend it. If we have rich owners who are prepared to spend then we can spend it and we are living within our means. But at the moment they aren’t so we have to limit the spending surely? I wouldn’t be happy to watch League 2 football and hope Bodin stays even if we lose him in the summer. We keep our best players and then regroup in the Summer. UTG!

Bollicks to the AlQs. Totally correct. Apart from Wael (who seems to have no authority) the owners have no ambition. They won’t put their hands in their pocket and money is definitely not being spent. It’s gonna take something very special for them to change their mind. And to not pay bills is just disgusting. DC has obviously had enough and that interview tells all. DC needs to be backed 100% by the fans. Fans, players and staff against the owners it seems now. Any frustration needs to be taken out on our owners. Unless they come out with a positive statement very soon, I’m sure there will be protests shortly. UWE was our spring board to the next chapter. But that needed money that our owners weren’t going to commit to spending. I’m a very optimistic person but this situation is an absolute shambles.

As I have said before he is holding us to ransom and waiting for the big payoff he needs to look into a mirror and see who the problem is and if he can't see It he's even more Of a twat than we all thought he was
