If they communicated, maybe we'd understand.

Respect is perhaps the wrong word as I've no doubt they are a good family but one with divided loyalties. A younger brother who loves football and an older brother who has taken on the business responsibilities of his father and wants to protect the family's wealth. I think it's more about trust and being told one thing a year or so ago then thinks change with UWE and we really no longer know what the family's plans are for our club.
Hani and DS have made a big mistake by not communicating with fans and indeed management. We all need to be pulling together but until we know the direction planned for the club that is going to be hard. A clear plan which is clearly communicated is essential if direction and trust are to be retored.

If they communicated, maybe we'd understand. communication is the key to the current situation, solve that issue, a lot more people will be on their side, whatever they say of course, if people don't believe what they say is a different matter.....

Hamer is a waste of time he doesn’t seem to know anything.

It seems we're at a crossroads, either the Hani commits to spending £30/40m on the Mem to support Wael with no real guarantee of a return or they cut their losses and sell up. My money is on the latter but I'm never an optimist as far as Rovers are concerned.

I am as unhappy as everyone else, but let me give you a scenario, maybe they are going to propose we share with Bath Rugby, and are negotiating that, should we be updated with every move or the UWE might be back on almost, and they won’t announce it until signed, are we expecting too much? The problem the family has is all the previous turmoil of failed plans.

I don’t think it will happen , what I’m saying is it should. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what Wael or Hamer say about the stadium, training ground, transfer budget or wage budget because Hani holds the purse strings and what Hamer and Wael want they probably aren’t going to get.

I don’t really like Hamer but I do think that when he helped the Al Qadis buy the club he thought that there would be lots of investment and I get the impression he feels let down too.

DS (basically Hani) need to go on Radio Bristol and front up. I am pretty sure no matter what they said they would win some respect (begrudging respect if bad news). Putting a face to a name (or a tone to a voice in radio terms) is so important in building trust. While he continues to hide it is far easier to see Hani as some faceless banker counting his money in his counting house. And the dismissive "DS does not communicate with the media" frankly adds to this image that they don't give a damn and have out Rovers into managed decline. The big worry though is if they had something good to say surely they would have done that by now? Wael was all over local media before the collapse of UWE, now the best we get is Hamer. It don't look good.

Also Hamer categorically stated rhey are here for the long haul. If that is the case they need to explain what their plan is and why they haven't publicly put the club up for sale if they can't commit significant funding to the playing side.
Why are they still here and seemingly keen to hold onto an 'investment' that is making substantial losses with no sign of new income streams?

It's total bollocks though.Dwayne Sports = Al-Qadi family.Bristol Rovers F.C. = Al-Qadi family.All just a smokescreen.

If dc isn't backed in January then that's a clear indication that money simply will never be spent on building a team to challenge the top six and we may even go down.
