Also, "luckily we have Dwane Sports" brings to mind the tale of the gingerbread man and how that all turned out. I am not saying they are up to anything nefarious but as stated above the jury has to still be very much out on whether they are a curse or a blessing.
It is all very well having a well meaning guy like Wael involved, I am sure he would spend loads of cash on us if he was able too but the core crux of it all is that it has become apparent that doesn't have the means and not even the most optimistic of us can say with certainty what is going to happen when debts exceed equity. What does happen doesn't appear to be in Wael's control.

The thing is, everything we think and write on this forum is subjective. We can't be objective because we don't know what the long term aims and objectives of the owners are. We can only guess and speculate, because we don't know how much money they have, or how much they are prepared to spend. We don't know how much they can convince other investors to spend either.
What I can be objective about is that there will be approaching 10k people at the Mem tomorrow, and that in an antiquated facility-poor stadium where a good number of people will be exposed to the elements for the best part of 2 hours. Not good in an English West-Country winter where our geographical position leads to copious rainfall.
There are clubs with far superior stadiums and facilities who can only dream of our level of support. All I know is things are a lot better than 4 years ago.

You are spot on about the subjectivity, part of that falls on the club and it's lack of communication though. In the absence of communication people will speculate based on what little there is to see/hear. I would like to think that they are not just open to the idea of outside investment but are actively courting it. But who knows, we don't get told anything and DS doesn't communicate with the media. Keep paying your money at the turnstiles and don't ask any questions, there is a good little Gashead.

Thought the press call to announce the new little tent stand gazebo sponsorship summed us up but hey still love the Gas even with no updates ever from the powers that be.

If you listen to the gassing out loud podcast you will hear that none of the Bodin transfer money has been spent yet, something that I pointed out in the Kyle Bennett thread, hopefully if the money is not spent on players it will be spent on getting the ground covered and more descent seating put in (all seats for the Shrewsbury game have been sold). And not used to pay off debts and disappear down a black hole. If we are to keep DC as he has pointed out more money needs to invested in our infrastructure now!.

I am sure their local pub landlord or shop owner would be delighted to share similar information and give a running commentary on where they are going to spend their money next (if at all) and whether they will borrow or spend from their savings.

No new signings. - we would still have made signings. No top players signing improved contracts. - Agree, players possibly might not have extended their contracts. Bodin and Taylor both engineered their move by refusing to sign however. No development squad. - Development squad has not been a great success as of yet.. needs time. No darrell clarke. - Agrees, we probably wouldnt have offered him a 5 year contract, do think he will be gone at the end of the season though. No chris hargreaves. - where is he, and what has he done for Bristol Rovers? No league 1 football. - We we're already on our way up league 2 at the time, ALQs brought a certain feel good factor, though it is now wearing thin. No new toilets and club shop. - cant get excited about either personally. No exciting training ground development. - We are yet to see any plansNo football loving mad rovers fan co-owner - Jury is out, never communicates with supporters. No safe protection from insolvency - debts are mounting and against the club. 12m the latest number and will increase, what gauruntees that would be paid off by owners? No real hope of a prosperous future. - Again until new ground or development plans are in public eye and planning approved etc.. We remain as we are. No prospect of a redeveloped mem near the fantastic gloucester road. - as above, no plans in public. Luckily we have got dwayne sports and the future is brighter than its ever been for bristol rovers fc. A lot of what you have listed, simply has not been delivered. all ifs, possibles and maybes. The spirit of my thread is simply an optimistic view of our club right now through my eyes with facts and possible facts,i should have put that i suppose but i thought people might have understood without explanation. In my view your response to each thing ive listed is simply the negative thinkers facts and possible facts on the same issues.

About the debt and the charge on the Mem...
It is my understanding that the £12M is a "credit facility".
Now, I'm not an expert in how these things work, but "credit facility" suggests to me the club can spend up to £12M. It does not suggest we've already spent it.
Just like you might have a credit card with a 10K limit. Unless you've reached that limit you're not 10K in debt.
We might have only spent 8M, and have 4M left to use if we want - who knows?

Why are you that needey Because when they came in we had a stadium deal on the table and they spoke of training grounds and academies opening in 2018. They have since walked away from that deal for whatever reason and no building work has taken place for anything. That hasn't done their credibility any good and raises questions about the extent of their ability and desire to fund a football club.
