A 24% price increase for us old buggers in the West Enclosure, was £129, now earlybird is £160. Club have obviously realised the majority of their support is over 65 and are therefore using us to pay for a CEO ETC! Stand in the East Enclosure then, like us old buggers who get wet when it rains!! Only a 20% increase for us from £113 to £140!! What was the rate of inflation this year? How much rise in our pension did we get? Oh yes.......3%. Thank you Wael!!

Some of us can only just afford a season ticket and can't afford to stand in the west terrace, or even sit in the stand (if we could get a season ticket in the stand?). I was looking forward to moving to an 'all seater' stadium, where I could sit down instead of standing, and be able to move my stiff and cold aching body at the end of a game, but still at a reasonable cost! The club have said this is to bring the prices in line with other L1 clubs! What about Bradford? Their prices are less than ours for all supporters and only £149 seated for an OAP, so how is that 'in line' with the other L1 clubs?

I don't have to remind you that a lot of people are working with a 0% pay increase this year.

He thinks he got it a bit cheap last few years and thinks 6 quid a game is pretty reasonable. Its costing me 275 quid, about 12 a game (good value in my book) and OAPs get it half price. How much do you think is reasonable?

Whilst I see that there has been little or no increase in recent years for season ticket holders in this era of austerity, I think it's worth noting every other 91 clubs(except Swindle Town) have had either a new stadium or substantial redevelopment to reward their supporters with.
We are over 20years at Mem, and only significant structure that was for benefit of the fans and not the club was the roof we paid ourselves on then Blackthorn End. (the tent end and s w seating is a benefit to the club as well as us, as it increases the seating allocation and they draw a premium on that).
So we have received precious little luxury / comfort / improvement compared to every other supporter we see around us..
Even Rochdale have turned terraces into all seating!

The football we get only half a game? The stadium we stand or sit in ain’t fit for purpose? So I’d say about £6 per game would be about the right value for a game at the mem.
On saying the above I’m getting my season ticket this week WHY because I’m a gashead

Well, not as an extra anyway. You just pay the price for your ticket. And it's nice to not get charged for paying with a Credit Card for a change.

I do think putting up OAP s/t's by 20% in one go is a bit steep even though it doesn't affect me or my family. Then there's the £4 delivery charges I assume you have to pay, so that's another £16 for a family of 4.

Anything for a moan hey? You either buy the ticket and go to watch Rovers or decide you can't afford it and don't go. Easy enough.
