My dad is an OAP. He thinks he got it a bit cheap last few years and thinks 6 quid a game is pretty reasonable. Its costing me 275 quid, about 12 a game (good value in my book) and OAPs get it half price. How much do you think is reasonable? Unless somebody produces a list of every other clubs s/t prices it's impossible to know what's reasonable or not? I do think putting up OAP s/t's by 20% in one go is a bit steep even though it doesn't affect me or my family. Then there's the £4 delivery charges I assume you have to pay, so that's another £16 for a family of 4. You can save the £16 if you go to the club shop and do the dirty dead

Our cheapest adult match day price was 2nd cheapest (earlybird price) Our dearest adult match day price was 13th cheapest (again earlybird price)

I'm not sure where this £16, £4 per ticket comes from? Is this what people are saying it costs on top of the ticket price to get them delivered? I certainly wasn't charged for that when I renewed yesterday.

I wasn't either when I renewed last Friday so don't know where this comes from.

When you attempt to buy them online £4 is added to the price for "delivery charges", I'd accept £1:50/£2 but £4 seems a bit steep, particularly if they are sending them out for free if you buy them in the shop!

That's poor. Never one to knock the club but renew online and you're charged £4 for delivery, go to the shop and there's no charge?

Well, someone’s got to pay for the new electronic turnstiles. And the moral of the story is - buy them from the shop.

Am I also right in thinking the handling, production and despatching of the new Season Cards are being dealt with by TicketMaster?

I will renew mine (x3) in the shop but I am also expecting to have to pick them up from the shop as well, hence no delivery charge. I might be wrong but I suspect that if you pay online you will expect it to be delivered. If making the trip to the shop, the expectation is that you will make another trip to collect it. If you pay at shop and they deliver for free then there is a definite "charge" being added for online renewals but I suspect that charge is more of a handling fee than a delivery cost. However, that doesn't justify the cost of "delivery". It should be one delivery charge per address, not per ticket. After all, it costs no more to put 4 cards in an envelope as it does to put one card in the envelope. It's not like the cards are the size of house bricks. It's just sheer greed.

It's just another wheeze from cynical ticket sellers like ticketmaster and stubhub. Like at Wembley there was a 35 quid handling fee so buy 6 tickets and wince.

Am I also right in thinking the handling, production and despatching of the new Season Cards are being dealt with by TicketMaster? From memory it's Tickets.com rather than TM, unless they are both the same co, it seems they do the tickets for a number of league clubs including Brentford & Yeovil(!)

Bought mine at the shop yesterday and paid £1.50 'Admin fee' on top of ticket, which will be posted out to me in the summer. Now as the cost of a 1st class stamp went up to 67p this week, that just leaves 83p to cover the cost of someone printing an address label and enveloping the ticket for posting. Sounds good value to me. Mind you I could get very picky if they send it second class!

Is it really necessary to renew and pay now, when the season doesn’t start for another 5 months? Or am I missing something?
