Is it really necessary to renew and pay now, when the season doesn’t start for another 5 months? Or am I missing something? Only if you want to get the cheapest price. It's all a big con selling before this season has even finished.

Ah right, cheers Hugo. Haven’t clicked on it yet, and hadn’t realised there was an early bird price.

When you attempt to buy them online £4 is added to the price for "delivery charges", I'd accept £1:50/£2 but £4 seems a bit steep, particularly if they are sending them out for free if you buy them in the shop! Bought mine at the shop yesterday and paid £1.50 'Admin fee' on top of ticket, which will be posted out to me in the summer. Now as the cost of a 1st class stamp went up to 67p this week, that just leaves 83p to cover the cost of someone printing an address label and enveloping the ticket for posting. Sounds good value to me. Mind you I could get very picky if they send it second class! You paid a £1.50 admin charge? And you bought it from the Club Shop? I certainly didn't. Odd.

Does the "window" to buy them seem shorter than ever this season, it doesn't even allow you to delay buying them until after pay day/the next new credit card month starts this season!

Yeah I think you are right. I'm sure we had 5 or 6 weeks last year but my be mistaken.

It is shorter this year. I seem to remember something about the lead times on the cards being the main reason.

Can I pay cash/card at stadium without details going to the ticketing company. Granted the company is not the same as another USA based one that were previously sending emails out regarding being hacked despite people raising concerns months in advance which were ignored. I repeat. Not the same company but lost confidence with USA data protection rules. Not heard anything bad about the company being used but 'once bitten' springs to mind

What’s the mood music then ? Are we going to sell less, more or about the same number as last season. If we’re on the evolution path , surely we should be striving to sell at least 10% more than last season. Unless they think the price hikes are enough to increase revenue by 10% and sell the same as last season.

Not heard anything bad about the company being used but 'once bitten' springs to mind With GDPR coming in you'll be covered by the EUs data protection rules which are much stricter than those in the states. I'm going out on a limb and saying the ticketing company only get involved when you are paying online. Similar to if you were booking gig tickets online vs going down to the box office directly.

New Child crèches being built behind the SW stand so people can pay to leave the rug rats. Some people on here would also benefit from using it as well

But aren't they both mainly full already on matchdays? Plus not sure I'd want to sit with my kids, if they were still youngsters, anywhere near potentially both Sunderland & Birmingham City fans next season!

Unless they think the price hikes are enough to increase revenue by 10% and sell the same as last season. I expect that we will sell about the same, some fans lost due to the price increases and some gained due to another decent season in L1 and good marketing on the part of the club. Still a decent number of ST's sold and revenue increases by quite a bit, so I expect the club would be happy if that was to be the case. It would be nice to hit the 6k mark, as last year we sold 5.5k, but with the price increases, I can't see it.
