Must admit the announcement took the gloss slightly off of a very good performance last night. His departure will leave a big gap to fill hopefully Michael Kelly will get the chance to stake his claim at Southend. As has already been said the word legend is used too much but in this case it's fully deserved. Cheers for the memories Browner guaranteed he will always get a massive reception whenever he returns.

Heard City have put in a 300k bid 👀 I hear they have to pay Liverpool that for not playing their loan player enough.

Gutted. A true Bristol Rovers legend. Thanks for the memories Browner. Not sure the feeling of ‘that’ goal will ever be topped in my lifetime. I wonder if that's true for him too. There can't be any greater feeling than scoring the goal that gets your team promoted with virtually the last kick of the season.

I suppose this makes the signing of Tony Craig slightly less of a mystery. He played Left back at Millwall didn't he? Last season was basically a 50/50 split between playing as a centre back and left back, but the majority of his career has been as a CB. I’d be interested to see him play on left. Don’t think he has the pace to be attacking LB does he?

Charlton or Portsmouth will have him.
He has a large portfolio of houses that get developed and rented, here in Bristol and I thought that woukd see him stay until his playing days were over. I think we will see him around a fair bit

Just to add my own appreciation to his time here. Some great memories and hope things work out for him and his family whatever he does.

All the best Browner. A great servant to this club and will always be remembered for that 92nd minute beauty!

Is he actually leaving to go to another club closer to family or just leaving to concentrate on family?

In hindsight, and not that it matters much, but Im soooooo glad Taylors effort didn't go in as it would have ruined watching it back for me

Gutted to see Lee go as he’s a big cog in the wheel when we’re playing well and a valuable team player we won’t replace to that standard...his coolness on the ball and deliveries and goal scoring option will sorely be missed...the fact arsenal couldn’t produce a player that plays to his standards shows you something that’s now worrying for us... Fullbacks has been a big problem this season with no one playing well week in and out and also injuries... When leads and browner are on their game we always looked unstoppable I suppose this makes the signing of Tony Craig slightly less of a mystery. He played Left back at Millwall didn't he? I hope not as Tony Craig is a stopper ( jury is still out on that too)not a footballer...our game plan has been attacking fullbacks and Craig isn’t one...I can see bola being signed as cover but still not consistent enough to be excited or relived about!

Watching that interview makes you realise what a genuine, professional bloke he is. Absolute model pro footballer who'll be a big loss in the dressing room as well as the pitch!

That's the way to leave a club, with respect and pride. Totally different to the snake of a forward who has shown this club disrespect. Browner and Bodin will be forever welcome at this club. Dicks like the snake and the tool will always get dogs abuse, and frankly they deserve it !!
