I gather he may not be playing next season but has decided to go into business with a relation of his. You obviously haven't watched the interview then as he says he's going to being playing football next year because he wants a new challenge? you obviously haven’t been to the corridors of power

He’ll defo get the send off he deserves tomorrow. What a guy. Professionalism personified. Gonna be weird not seeing him next season. And to think we never really had a song for him!

Couldn't be at THAT game either, family gathering in the midlands. Me and my nine year old boy sat in the car in a car park biting our nails as we squandered chance after chance, THEN, THAT BROWNER MOMENT(!), we both jumped out the car (can't sit down when you score ordinarily!) and danced around it shouting, singing, laughing, crying - lots of funny looks from the locals who stopped to see what the nutters were up to - then we had a couple more nervous disbelieving minutes standing around outside the car until it was all confirmed and then we went nuts again! Great day, and much of the credit goes to the likes of Browner, thank you. Missing that game at first sounds bad but as your story went on I actually thought how special that moment must have been , an unorthodox way to experience and celebrate promotion but in its own way as good as being there. UTG Exactly my thoughts - same a francegas. I was thinking to myself, "I can't imagine missing THAT moment/game, that must have been awful!" - but reading it and I guess everyone has their own special and remembers 'where they were' at that moment Lee Brown stepped up A special moment for all gasheads no matter where you were

However listening and the fact we went up with Browners last kick of the game was like "one" for Dad as I thought how chuffed he would have been. Browner obviously has no idea what that moment meant to me. So I wish him god speed and good luck and good fortune in everything he does.

Buckle thought he was signing Roberto Carlos... That bit made me laugh.

one player gone, only another 12 to go the sooner the better Tear it up and start again ? Surly you can see that our success has been built on a great team spirit with only small changes made here and there each and every window ? 12 in 12 out was what buckle did for us, what Bury, Oldham and Northampton did this season. You really think we need to move half of the squad on and bring a new half in in one transfer window ? DC and Stewart have said in interviews this and last week that it will be what they always do so I ask where does this 12 to go come from ?

Difficult to make a case for half a dozen to leave, never mind 12. You might even call it...evolution, not revolution. UTG

But this does leave us a little bit of a problem at left back... With Marc Bola only here on loan and Brown going, we're going to need to find a (or a couple of) replacement(s).
Not wanting to start transfer speculation too early or anything but anyone in particular take your fancy?
