He's going to be a big loss both on the pitch and off. All the best for the future Browner, I wish you every success wherever you end up.

Clearly not but he’s made his decision. When it comes to making a massive life changing decision I think people are rarely 100% sure. But it’s obviously more than 50/50 so that’s why he’s chosen to leave.

A mascara alert would have helped! If you are reading this Browner, don’t forget to pop down to the South Stand, we love you too.

An excellent interview - one of Keith's best. Good luck to Lee Brown - where next ? Southend ? Wycombe ? Wimbledon ? or maybe Luton ( my hunch) ?

They have Dan Potts at left back who was named in the League Two Team of the Season and is comfortably good enough to step up.

Man Utd are looking to offload Shaw and need a Left Back. Can we arrange a swap, with Man Utd also paying a couple of million?

Is that why Saturday is his last game rather than at Southend, unless he just wants to play his last match for Rovers at the Mem? I'd imagine Southend is pain to get to from south London.

I felt genuinely sad at the end of that interview. What a big loss he'll be to the club. Top man, top pro, good luck Browner, we'll all miss you!

I gather he may not be playing next season but has decided to go into business with a relation of his.

Gills fans reckon they're after him - wouldn't be a bad club to go to tbf

I think pretty much every London based club in leagues 1 and 2 will at least give him some thought and imagine he’ll have loads of offers. Good luck to him so sorry to see him go.

Thanks Browner for bringing a 50+ man to tears in the 92nd minute in the final game of the season. I will never forget that even though I was listening here in France. 280+ games for the gas shows true loyalty. Good luck in pastures new.

Couldn't be at THAT game either, family gathering in the midlands. Me and my nine year old boy sat in the car in a car park biting our nails as we squandered chance after chance, THEN, THAT BROWNER MOMENT(!), we both jumped out the car (can't sit down when you score ordinarily!) and danced around it shouting, singing, laughing, crying - lots of funny looks from the locals who stopped to see what the nutters were up to - then we had a couple more nervous disbelieving minutes standing around outside the car until it was all confirmed and then we went nuts again! Great day, and much of the credit goes to the likes of Browner, thank you.

Missing that game at first sounds bad but as your story went on I actually thought how special that moment must have been , an unorthodox way to experience and celebrate promotion but in its own way as good as being there.
