Another step in the right direction, the success of clubs such as Bournemouth, Burnley and Brighton has partly relied on strong recruitment and its an area we can definitely improve upon.
The change since the days of higgs has been almost transformational in terms of backroom staff, never in our history have we had such a large, experienced set of professionals trying to move the club in the right direction and it can only mean good things. UTG

This seems ambitious. Feels like the cogs are starting to fit together nicely.
Also, sounds promising about other announcements. Recruitment or physical?

Does this mean Will Dubey is no longer Player Recruitment Analyst/Scout for the club?

This is great. He was DC’s mentor at Salisbury so clearly a sign that DC isn’t going anywhere.

Ffs, we can't afford to pay the players, yet we employ a new head of recruitment, sort it out Wael....! Forget the players. What about the fence?

Seems that he will also find clubs to take the U23 players for loan spells, bit of joined up thinking which I like.
I think DC is building a bit of an empire here, plenty of back room staff and support. Suggestion of good news over the coming months could make this a very interesting summer.

I am hoping this is all leading to big outside investment over the summer.
We are surely setting ourselves up for something, this would all seem a bit OTT if we are going to pitching a few "Go Outdoors" tents around the ground.

Does this mean Will Dubey is no longer Player Recruitment Analyst/Scout for the club? Most clubs have both. I guess Will Dubey will still scout and deal with all the other data, stats that are involved in modern day scouting. Tommy Widdrington will work with DC to finalise which ones are good enough and have the required ability for the squad.

it sounds like another role being filled which needed filling but bit of a strange CV to lead to Head of Recruitment at a league club? "He joined Salisbury City in 2005 and remained there for five years, and was player/manager for the last of those. Darrell Clarke took over from him as manager of the club. Tommy enjoyed a brief spell as assistant to Paul Sturrock at Southend United before joining Hemel Hempstead Town as manager. In February 2012 he took over as manager of Eastbourne Borough, where he was in charge for five years" I guess the Salisbury connection means DC has no plans to jump ship anytime soon. Coventry are not a league club now then?? I knew they dropped low, but not that low lol

I fully expect some good news re the Colony to house all these new players very soon to house ? hotel aswell !? Well we need at least 20 offices to put all the back room staff in.... and do we have to employ one of these "safety officers" to look after our young uns as well as required by the league or do the have one we can borrow once in a while ?
