Rumours on twitter that the snake is being released. He’s already snaked once, will he do it again?

Some of the posts on here are ridiculous. If someone offered me three or four times my salary I’d be off like a shot . We all would.

I was gutted he went there but he’s not from Bristol so it’s a bit like if any of us played for Swindon and then Oxford offered us 3-4 times as much money would we say no I can’t because it’s Oxford ? Nope.

Good on him for leaving us in the lurch and grabbing the cash whilst it's there - but he can go and do one if he thinks he'll be universally welcome coming back to the club that gave him his big break. If he wants an example of how to do it properly then he doesn't need to look too far beyond Lee Brown.

Definitely have the snake back, happy with Bennett so not concerned about Billy, however, it all falls over and will probably never happen because apparently Bristol Rovers have not got any money, so the club will continue looking for “gems in the national league “ as well as growing our own in the under 23 league.

Little sh** gets what he deserves. We will see him in our league again, whether released by the sh** or on loan. Welcome back?, my ar*e
Bodin, would welcome him back, although he left, he didn't do what that dirty stinking traitor did. I get the loyalty, wanting to earn, wanting to protect your family etc, however there are ways to do it without destroying your legacy. Look at Lambert on how you do it properly, with class.
Interesting that he is quite often seen with Ollie Clarke, Ellis Harrison and other members of the team, so they do not carry the same axe that most of us do. It's a job to them.
This is going to keep going around and around for ever and a day. Bored to death with it. However, looking forward to hurling abuse at the vile, rancid shi*head traitor, not because he left, not because he played a part in VILE Pantsdown's little game of chess, but because of that video of him singing their version of Irene and kissing the badge.....TWAT !!!!!!!

I get the impression that he also peed off DC with the manner of his leaving, and for that reason alone I don't think we'll see him back, thank christ ! I don't ever want to see that man wearing my beloved shirt again.

How long has the traitor's contract still got to run at the **** pit out of interest? Anyone?
Hard to see him leaving his big pay day early - no doubt someone would take a chance on signing him despite his lack of goals at Championship level, but I doubt they'd offer the sort of money I assume the teds threw at him and his agent. I'm guessing he's happy sitting on the bench and making the odd cameo appearance when John Snout has one of his more lucid moments and decides to throw him into the mix.

Urgh, I don't know how some gasheads can see him in 'THAT' shirt and still want him back.
He would have to spend 10 years in quarantine and his career would be well over then anyway.

Don't believe for a moment that it will happen but yes, I would have him back in a heartbeat. He is exactly what we've been missing since, well, the day he left really.
OK, he went there. It's understandable. They pay more and play at a higher level. It's not worked out for him on the pitch so he may have to step down a level. I'd rather he scored goals for us in League 1 than someone else.

Personally, if he scored 20 goals next season and got us promoted to the Championship I'd forgive him! As far as DC not wanting him back, could he really turn down a 20 gaol a season striker on a free, given he spent £300K on a striker who looks totally out of his depth. Although if the 82er's ever bought up his contract what's the betting it would be on the basis he could only leave if he joined any club but Rovers.

That's exactly why we wont get him, the club wont want promotion as it will mean making the ground all-seater within 3 years and players will have wage increases, players coming in will need to be 'championship ready' costing a fortune. The only thing championship ready we have is the sprinklers. Nah id rather have Byron Moore up front than the snake coming back.

I would take Matty back.
Disappointed with what he did, and could never regard him as a legend even if he came back and fired us to the Prem. But could forgive him for it and with his goals we'd be real contenders.

I won't want the treacherous little Lady Garden back. just remember how and where he went in that January transfer window. If he had any class, any respect for Rovers how wouldn't have had anything to do with the crowing and bragging that horrible s h it club indulged in when he signed. He gleefully joined in rubbing our noses in it, the C unt. And then he willingly made that goal celebration video. Treacherous, p is taking little C unt. The only person at Trashton that beats him for C untishness is the rosy cheeked L.G., and not by that not much either.
