So presumably, if you don't have a youngster with you, it means no adult can go in the north end of either side ? Does that mean that on night games when most kids can't go, our capacity will be cut to about 9500?
Wonder who thought this one up. Surely it would have been better to put seats both sides and offer more adult seating. That's where the money is.

Interesting to know what this adds to overall capacity.

Interesting to know what this adds to overall capacity. probably doesn't. most likely will have to reduce the number of terrace spots somewhere

Above the terrace, you mean? Not sure I'd be that happy standing underneath a temporary structure. Or behind it, elevated?

If I understand this - is this being built behind the existing terracing on the East side - adjacent to where the shop was last season? If so that means the pasty shops will have to go. All these bl??dy tents it's like a Bedouin camp site around an oasis - just need the travelling community to set up camp in the car park now to complete the scene.

So are we still keeping the Family Enclosure as well as the new stand as it suggests it's "an alternative to" rather than replacing the present family enclosure. I wonder how many seats does it hold/how many standing places will be lost on the North enclosure? Not sure why the club didn't publish an artist impression as to what it should look like when it's built?

I did explain this on another thread. There is plenty of room at the top of the East Terrace between the first step and the pasty hut. It is a massive waste of space and at least the club are trying to make use of it. The seats will start at the top of the existing terrace and rake upwards obviously. Nobody will be standing underneath a temporary structure but will have to stand behind it to line up for a pasty. Im sure it will be safe!

Why waste money on a artist/architect/designer to draw it up? Can you not wait to see it or something?

But isn't it a "massive space" used by fans home for sell out matches, or can we squeeze more fans into the space left now w/o breaking any H&S rules?

Surely it's all part of the P/R, we'll see artist impressions of the shirts before they're be released but I doubt they'll add to the sales in the long term. Plus we'll probably now get some a Lego model of what it might look doing the rounds instead!!

The yellow hatching is there to signify an area where officially you cannot stand and watch the game, much like the gangways. Yes i know these areas are always stood in but shouldn't be officially.

Problem is if the club release artists impressions of what is most likely going to look like the West tent the club would be a laughing stock. The new regime must know this, it wouldn't have surprised me previously but would now.

The pasty shops will stay as it won’t take up that much space. Think of the south west stand but on the tarmac immediately behind the terracing where there is hatching currently, there will still be plenty of room behind that. What I want to know is will the capacity increase or will spaces be lost off the east terrace.

Have been a ST holder on Family Terrace for a few seasons (Changing to Thatchers next year) whenever Parrot Jnr couldnt come to matches i still had to go in Family Terrace, never once was i challenged about being a lone adult. However i was told i couldnt transfer for individual games when on my own, so not sure what other option i would have had ??

I know there's plenty of room - that's where my season ticket is for. If I can visualise this - i can't see how they can extend this all the way down to the Dribuild - maybe just half way from the furthest point north before there is limited viewing. I'm sure they've done the plans - as Topper says maybe just a small plan or an outline footprint to at least give an idea to the people that buy/have bought season tickets for that area.
