So now I'm displaced!? I've renewed my ST expecting to stand in my usual place at the top of the Open East Terrace directly beyond the turnstiles. So where do I go now...............................? You can still stand in front of the raised stand... Yes, that's what I've now been told. The new stand will be behind the terracing but will 'knock out' the top few rows of terrace so that the view of those in the front of the new stand will not be obstructed. Obviously there will now be less terracing in that area. Access to that terracing will remain the same, and access to the stand will be from the back.

The new blue seats do look smarter so if the south west stand is being enlarged and upgraded I hope they use blue seats in this stand and all the new stands.

This is going to be very confusing soon;
"Going to Rovers Saturday?" "Yeah mate, in the East stand as usual" "Well it's changed now, do you mean the stand or to stand?" "Well to stand" "Which section?" "In front of the family stand" "What you talking about, the pitch?" "No mate, you're thinking of the family terrace" "Right, so in front of the family stand then" "Yeah, although not the normal spot - we gotta move a few steps forward as there's a stand where I stand" "Alright fella - see you on Saturday then standing in the east stand in front of the family stand standing a few steps in front" "Nice one"

We can totally turn this into some chant about having more stands than the opposition.

Er Yes and I remember it being a lot darker and a lot wetter than in that pic. The 0-0 we ground out in the drizzle that November night could possibly the lowest point in our history!

Frankly laughable in my opinion if a new tent can be classed as a start of the redevelopment of the Mem as headlined in the EP. That is unless.it will not be a tent but a permanant roofed structure that ties in wits the Dribuild stand etc. Another structure like the South West stand created last season will just be another reason for us to be a laughing stock for all and sundry.

The ground needs more seats especially on the side lines, more revenue will come in with seat sells so a thumbs up from me even if its a tent

Any confirmation if the council will permit an increase in capacity with the extra seating, they haven’t permitted it with the other tents in the past?

Best we can do in the short term without needing planning permission for next season

We're going to lose the top few rows of terracing, which are usually full; and when the attendance is 8,000+ the rows of fans standing behind the top of the terracing can be 3 or 4 deep.

I'm sure it will be explained by the owners in their *weekly/monthly/yearly communication with the fanbase.
*delete where appropriate.

Maybe one row? I genuinely don’t know. Maybe Topper was right, we need the blueprints .
