Wow...an entire thread created to have a dig at individual posters whose posts you disagree with or their writing style isn't for you. What a totally cunty thing to do. Umm, I wasn't have a go at some posters because I disagree with them or that their style wasn't for me. I was having a go at some posters for their constant obvious BS that they spread due to clearly having hidden agenda.
But... wow... an entire post (by you) created to have a dig at an individual poster (me) whose post you disagree with or isn't for you. Indeed what a totally cunty thing to do
Thanks anyway!
PS... I am not the first person to do it and I wont by the last person to do it either. I wonder if you have challenged everyone in the past and will continue to challenge everyone who has a dig at other posters. I doubt it. So why single me out? That's a rhetorical question by the way. No need to answer it.
Hidden agenda you say,Hennnnnnbuuurrrrrrrrrrry gas..

I think that all good, right thinking people on this forum are sick and tired of being told that all good, right thinking people on this forum are fed up with being told that all good, right thinking people on this forum are fed up with being sick and tired. I'm certainly not, and I'm sick and tired of being told that I am.

I have it on good authority that the pitch is going to be turned 180 degrees.

Most respond directly to their posts rather than singling them out in a needless thread that serves only to attack posters. I think the mods will agree I have been painfully consistent in challenging those who break forum rules by attacking posters. I stand by my original point. A totally cunty thing to post.

IMO the hostile reaction of some posters to the opinions which Gasincider and Severncider express is brought about by insecurity. If the posters had genuine confidence that there is a plan and everything is going according to that plan then the doubts which Gasincider and Severncider raise would simply be ignored.

I think people genuinely get wound up by their style of writing and phraseology. They are however, rule abiding forum members so should be subject to the same level of common courtesy as everyone else. People are free to challenge their posts, the content and their views as is the point of a forum. They are also free to totally ignore them if they believe engaging with them is futile. What they are not allowed to do is single them out for personal attacks because they think their posts are BS. I disagree with alot of what they say, but they are perfectly entitled to post everything they have posted. I guess some might be insecure but if this many people are insecure about the current BOD, then the board should surely communicate more effectively about their plans.

Partly true and many do ignore them. What I do see though is a narrative being written by some especially since the UWE collapse that the al-Qadis are charlatans with alterior motives and yet many of the suggestions or accusations made since August have not come to light. The tone of writing is also something that frustrates many, for example the suggestion of players not being paid. On both forums there are those who will not accept them and are expecting or hoping new owners to take over. Someone on Gasheads in December suggested they would be gone in January and good ridence. BS5 got very angry with anyone who asked questions of him. They are still here and so far look like they are not going just yet. By all means be critical but the posting of random comments only to inflame feelings and generate distrust does nothing to enhance debate. For these reasons and more, many are feeling aggrieved. It is like the story of the boy who called wolf. We have read so many posts that the credibility of some has been lost and if ever something genuine happens that we need to know about I'm afraid it will be dismissed as another attempt to undermine and divide. The burden of proof is on the poster, those of us who have not contact with the internal workings of the club deserve better.

The burden of proof is on the poster, those of us who have not contact with the internal workings of the club deserve better. To me it's a bit like the way a politician deals with a heckler. When a politician is in command of the situation and knows his facts and figures he will swat his hecklers like swatting a fly. This encourages his supporters who are cheered by his performance and they increase their trust and confidence in him. And it discourages the hecklers who will think twice before doing it in the future in case they are made to look foolish again. But if the politician is on shaky ground, keeps changing his position and is unsettled by the hecklers, it's very hard for his supporters to defend him so the response is often to have a go at the hecklers. I think all supporters of the club, including the two "ciders", want Wael to provide strong leadership and rebut criticism confidently because this would indicate he truly is in command of the situation.

The role of a heckler in politics is to derive, jeer and undermine the argument aggressively. Retorts in kind will only cause those caught inbetween trying to understand to turn off. If a debate is needed then it is best to engage constructively and gently tease out the answer. Those who shout "I object! now what was the question?" only undermine their own argument. Is this Gaschat or Question Time? 😐

...and back to the pitch. Has anyone got photographic evidence of the alleged lack of white lines? Isn’t it just possible that it was the wind, “cause white lines,...blow away”. 😉

Creating threads attacking them or changing user names to mock other forum members is just wanky behaviour in my opinion.

It might also be worth recognising that your username is defamatory so might be worth changing it before reporting others for the same thing.

Good for you. Your unwillingness to engage in any reasonable way shows exactly what you are all about and confirms to me I was right. You don’t need to agree or even like their posts but behaving like you’re in the playground and mocking ‘less popular’ posters is just a pathetic way to act on a forum designed to give fans a platform to share their opinions on Rovers.

Who's attacking the posters now? Using foul language? I must have misunderstood or misread the situation as I sense a whiff of hypocrisy in your moral crusade.

The difference is I am engaging with you directly to explain my thoughts in a reasoned manner and try and convince you that your approach is wrong. I’m not changing my username to make sly digs and behaving like a playground bully.
