I've heard new shirts had to be returned to manufacturer because when I tried one on I kept doing that thing where I kept yanking it down and turning round on tip toes to look at my bum then yanking it down again then turning back to the front and fluffing it back up from where I'd yanked it down then turning back round and yanking it over my bum again. I'm not happy and refusing to pay unless they hide my tummy and stop making my bum look massive. You're really talking about yourself here aren't you ! Fixed it for you. Quarters are SO fattening!

I for one thought that the OP was pretty funny. Not because I see it as a dig at an individual, but more as a dig against ALL the naysayers and how there is definitely a glass half empty/full divide happening at Rovers at the moment. I thought it portrayed in quite a witty way that the powers that be are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't. I also belong to various Rovers Facebook groups and the divide is exactly the same there. It must be really difficult running a football club, where the customers think they own the right to tell you what to do. The signing of Tom Nichols sums it up: "We never sign proven players, only get the scraps that are left. We cannot afford to buy players as Wael has no money". "We wasted £350k on a player that scored goals last year for a team in our league, but came up short for us this season. The owners/management are terrible". I think we knew that the club was in massive financial trouble when the Sainsbury's deal fell through. If there is another option, I am all ears. I would contribute to a Crowd fund to buy the club. However, even that has it's issues. You only have to look at Exeter to see where fickle fans making managerial decisions get you! Those FB pages are full of trolls posting sh**e for bites. And nearly every single one of them seems to be a bloke between 40 and 65. Not sure why that's the case but it's pretty pathetic to be honest and the kind of thing you'd expect from people half their age.

Here is something posted earlier today, which I think is pretty apt... "Reading this post is another example of why we are a joke. We accept mediocrity as success and failure as mediocrity. If you don't hold people to account nothing happens and that's what we do. Not saying Wael is a bad bloke or he has done nothing he has improved things but not by that much. A few tents, ladies toilets and now a revamped bar. What's the end game, is this the redevelopment of the Mem or is it temporary? If it's the latter we will struggle as we have always. Either way if you are a Belter or happy clapper I respect your opinion."

I think this thread had drifted away from the real issues. I was down at the ground at the weekend - had a look at the pitch. It looked pretty much same as before, I thought Hamer said we were getting fibre sand pitch or something? Since that interview with the ground people there has been NO communication and NO evidence of a fibre sand pitch or anything. And I couldn't see any evidence of people working on it when I was there on saturday. Another example of the club saying something and it not happening.. YET AGAIN. I think they mixed some All Bran with the grass seeds

I think they mixed some All Bran with the grass seeds This whole pitch thing is giving me the shits! As long as you don't do it on the pitch. That will kill the grass for sure. The club don't have any money to re-do the pitch from scratch.... Even though they have done it 2 summers in a row!!!!
