does it feel good? Who's attacking the posters now? No. Ah, the old if I point the finger elsewhere it deflects from the things I have done wrong argument. The difference is I am engaging with you directly to explain my thoughts in a reasoned manner and try and convince you that your approach is wrong. I’m not changing my username to make sly digs and behaving like a playground bully. I would draw you to my previous edit. I'm not trying to take the moral high ground here but you are - whilst attacking posters and using terms like c***y and w***y to describe them. Oh yes how I have seen the error of my ways. I should surely adopt your own approach. I think you should look at your own before accusing others of bullying behaviour. That is quite all I have to say on the matter and wish you a good day fellow gashead

Most respond directly to their posts rather than singling them out in a needless thread that serves only to attack posters. I think the mods will agree I have been painfully consistent in challenging those who break forum rules by attacking posters. I stand by my original point. A totally cunty thing to post. IMO the hostile reaction of some posters to the opinions which Gasincider and Severncider express is brought about by insecurity. If the posters had genuine confidence that there is a plan and everything is going according to that plan then the doubts which Gasincider and Severncider raise would simply be ignored. Disagree. There’s a limit. Imo one poster in particular has become he Katie Hopkins of the forum. Negatively spinning every event and often shortly proven wrong, is simply not playing fair. I’ve disagreed with yourself previously but you’ve always had a point, explained and logical. You haven’t attacked the board at every opportunity but you’ve criticised the general direction. That’s fair. A running commmetary of small non-issues spun into a negative narrative provides no help. You use the annolgy of someone challenging a politician. Good annolgy. But some of the points risen by these “doomers” are tantamount to politicians being challenged on a lack of tie. Hardly, an issue to crazy over. Spitting the dummy out over: 1) lack of shirt designs 2) lack of summer tour ( it’s happening) 3) making efforts on the mem. 4) Rainbow corner flags. 5) Wael quitting his role in the Jordan FA. Spinning non-stories. And I feel it’s genuinely for some online notoriety. Thus, overall- I agree the best approach is to ignore them and I try to. Myself, potential happy clapper, I want to know more about stadium plans and the future- and would concede that here with an issue worthy of scrutiny. At the moment, I have some trust that it’ll be ok but accept others views that are more demanding for knowledge.

That is quite all I have to say on the matter and wish you a good day fellow gashead I used swear words to describe the behaviour and actions of some posters not them personally although that is just a technicality. Had I not sworn I guess the remaining content was correct or you would have mentioned it. Far from trying to take any moral high ground I am simply pointing out that creating a thread to indirectly mock other forum users and changing a username to mock other forum members is against forum rules and poor form. I know I have many faults...my inability to not swear being one of them!

Partly true and many do ignore them. What I do see though is a narrative being written by some especially since the UWE collapse that the al-Qadis are charlatans with alterior motives and yet many of the suggestions or accusations made since August have not come to light. The tone of writing is also something that frustrates many, for example the suggestion of players not being paid. On both forums there are those who will not accept them and are expecting or hoping new owners to take over. Someone on Gasheads in December suggested they would be gone in January and good ridence. BS5 got very angry with anyone who asked questions of him. They are still here and so far look like they are not going just yet. By all means be critical but the posting of random comments only to inflame feelings and generate distrust does nothing to enhance debate. For these reasons and more, many are feeling aggrieved. It is like the story of the boy who called wolf. We have read so many posts that the credibility of some has been lost and if ever something genuine happens that we need to know about I'm afraid it will be dismissed as another attempt to undermine and divide. The burden of proof is on the poster, those of us who have not contact with the internal workings of the club deserve better. To me it's a bit like the way a politician deals with a heckler. When a politician is in command of the situation and knows his facts and figures he will swat his hecklers like swatting a fly. This encourages his supporters who are cheered by his performance and they increase their trust and confidence in him. And it discourages the hecklers who will think twice before doing it in the future in case they are made to look foolish again. But if the politician is on shaky ground, keeps changing his position and is unsettled by the hecklers, it's very hard for his supporters to defend him so the response is often to have a go at the hecklers. I think all supporters of the club, including the two "ciders", want Wael to provide strong leadership and rebut criticism confidently because this would indicate he truly is in command of the situation. But what if that's not is style, do we hound & bully him until he speaks up or he decides after all that football ownership is not for him and so puts the club up for sale or even worse? Can't we wait a month or so and see if the CEO does turn up and see what he has to say in his first interview? Gasincider has become like a troublesome kid throwing his toys out of the pram when he doesn't get his way in order to attract attention, usually ignoring kids like that is the best solution.

...and back to the pitch. Has anyone got photographic evidence of the alleged lack of white lines? Isn’t it just possible that it was the wind, “cause white lines,...blow away”. 😉 Ban !!

I have it on good authority that the pitch is going to be turned 180 degrees. Sorry, you are misinformed, the pitch is getting turned but it will be turned 360 degrees, not 180.

It was going to be the full 360 degrees but Hani is cutting back, so 180 this season then a further 180 at some unspecified date in the future.

Ciao. Apologies for any offence caused by my use of language. My issue is that the thread clearly breaks forum rules...but as long as everyone gets a laugh that's ok! It breaks no more rules than you did in your response to it. Gasincider was not mentioned personally and he is not the only poster who the OP could have applied to. We've been down this road before and I have been down it in the past with other posters. If someones posting style is to inflame and tease then frankly it becomes much much harder to defend them when people give some back. It works both ways. People have had a pop at GI, Topper, Lord Justice, GGMI, Antonio etc... The list goes on and on. All of those posters listed are forthright and opinionated at times and as a result open themselves up to a little parody. When it goes over the top Mods have and will step in but the OP of this thread was clearly just taking the water out of all the so called ITK posters who have told us stuff that turned out to be nonsense and at the people spreading gloom about every little thing.

Where I might agree is with the username change.
If I'm honest, I'm not happy about it, but not sure how it would set a precedent if we start dictating posters user names.
