Anyone who has had he pleasure of meeting Ellis Harrison will tell you what a kind, caring and genuine person he is. A far cry from the stereotypical modern day footballer. It’s easy to forget that this lad is still just 24. I hope he can go on to fulfill his potential in the game. Best of luck, Ellis.

Probably one of my favourite players I've seen at Rovers. His goals in the conference invaluable and seeing him lead the line like he did last season, was a joy to watch. Me and my brother (15 and 12 at the time) still talk about that brace he scored against Rochdale back in 2013, running half the pitch and cutting in for one of them. All the best Ellis, will be greatly missed

Met him a couple of times and he was more than happy to speak with fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures. Seems a really nice chap who has started to realise his potential and I can't begrudge him a move to the Championship.
Who can forget that equaliser at Wembley and the 7 minute hat-trick against Northampton. All the best to him, I just hope the step up isn't too much, too soon.

Hope he does well at Championship level and proves those who slated him for years wrong. From the moment he scored that brace on his home debut we always knew he had talent there. He was a hero at Wembley and don't forget he scored some important goals in the Conferance season.
Good luck Ellis!

Love the lad, one of the nicest guys we’ve had play for the club and thoroughly deserves his opportunity to show what he’s got in the championship. Hope he emulates Marcus Stewart and goes on to shine for the tractor boys. Good luck Ellis.

As there’s a fair chance Ellis will be made aware of this thread, i’ve copied and pasted what I wrote elsewhere when the news broke. Let’s show this Rovers legend (yes, he is!) some love!
Thank you for everything, Ellis. Without that Wembley goal we could still be stuck in non-league. Who knows. At times you carried the team on your shoulders last season and showed us signs of the player you could be. Better to come, I suspect. Also, a massive part of a very positive dressing room. We’re going to miss you big time, and also you left the club at a time where we could get a big fee, which is much appreciated. You can walk out the club with your chest out and your head held high, having proved so many doubters wrong. Go get ‘em in the Championship! UTG!

Will be missed around the club, in the dressing room and most importantly on the pitch.
Huge boots to fill.
Will welcome you back if it doesn’t work out for you at Ipswich.

Nice lad , I mentioned it before but hopefully he reads this. A couple of years ago at one of the open days , me and my kids were standing in line to get player autographs, absolutely scorching hot, my daughter was moaning that she was thirsty but she didn’t want to leave the que. Harrison clocks what’s going on and pulled her out of the que gave her his drink and got all the lads to sign her autograph book!! She still tells her friends about it now !!!

A great character to have in the dressing room, always great with the kids too. He's grew up with us. Had his fair share of ups and downs along the way and his fair share of praise and criticism. One of the most frustrating players we've had for a long while if I'm honest as you always knew he had it in him but was too inconsistent and he didn't help himself at times. So it was brilliant to see him finally show his potential last season and IMO he was our POTS. Gutted to see him now leave and he will be a hard act to replace.
All the best Ellis.
Love GGMI x

Good luck Ellis, your next dressing room will become a happier place because of your infectious spirit ...just don't let them coach all the fun out of your game!

Good luck Ellis.
I have been his biggest critic, simply because I knew he had all the talent, but he didn't show it enough IMO.
Last season he was brilliant though, and he is going to be hard to replace.
A lovely lad and as DC has said is a bit "daft" but a real cog in the great team spirit we've got here and he will be missed.
Once again, Good Luck Ellis.

Off the pitch, as mentioned above many times, he is a nice lad.
On the pitch, he can be so frustrating to watch at times and at other times he shows what he can do. Still very raw in my eyes. Pretty good defensively and has scored some fantastic goals in his career with us. His final ball can be lacking quality though but as each season has passed, he works very hard chasing the ball down and causing issues for the opposition.
For me he will be remembered for the goal at Wembley to level the game. If he didnt get that then who knows, we could be where Torqua is right now or even worse! Also for me he will be remembered as a very good super sub as he often did very well to stretch the oppositions defence late in games and even scored a fair few goals too off the bench.
All the best Ellis. I look forward to see how well you progress in the Championship.
