This is not Bristol Rovers related...but perhaps it is...if you have got a few minutes or even 43 minutes to listen to this IMO it could not be further from my club and the way I feel it is going. I am no lover of the Peterborough owner or their Management team but after reading this I feel I know more about Peterborough United than I know about my own club!
Perhaps TG could learn something from this, Perhaps the Evening Post reporters could learn something from this, perhaps even Wael, Hani or whoever pulls the strings could learn something from this?
I would call it refreshing. What is others opinions- I appreciate some or most might think he is a p----k but is it better or worse than the dark hole that we seem to be heading?

Guy's a prick. Didn't watch the vid. That's my informed opinion.

Fair enough- that's your opinion...it was mine too prior to watching it but that is not the point I am making.

He comes across ok. He's very open which is refreshingbut does come across as arrogant which puts people off. It's polar opposite to how we seem to conduct ourselves - for better or worse I've no idea. I don't think DC would appreciate Wael being so out spoken about the behind the scenes running so i suspect it wouldn't work at our club.

No, you seemed to be making the point that we were heading into a dark hole, for some reason. Even without watching the vid I'm fairly sure you've implied some sort of false dichotomy between dark holes and Darragh McAnthony.

Yeah, it's fairly clear that any Posh manager must be subservient to DM. Really wouldn't suit DC, and might be the reason that they fail to get promoted so often despite the odds.

You'd think with the amount of quality players they've had over the years and the amount of money they have received from players sales they should be be in a much better position than they are. They finished 5 points above us last season...
Being jealous of a chairman doing an interview is strange IMO.

Wael got in the sh** several times for responding to DMs from fans so it's weird that people would want him to be more like Darragh MacAnthony (a thundering bellend).
I'd rather wait until whatever is being announced is actually completed to know about it instead of put up with endless intrigue.

Irrespective of yours, mine or anyone's opinion of the Peterborough chairman, what is it about Rovers that makes you think we're heading towards a dark hole?
Genuine question, as I would have thought that this is a period of great optimism for Rovers at the moment.

I don't the dichotomy between McAnthony and black holes is false, Antonio. McAnthony is one of the biggest, deepest, darkest Arseholes I've ever heard.

Come on Steve put your hands up and tell us what you've heard most of us haven't which makes you feel we're heading into a dark hole, or is it you just can't cope w/o football in the summer and you gradually fell into your own dark hole each summer?

I listened to the interview and it would indicate that the Posh appear more switched on than we are. For example, if we assume that we received £300,000 for the snake, I believe if he were a Peterborough player they would have recognised at a much earlier stage than us what an asset they had and would have ensured that the release clause was much higher. The result could possibly have been a transfer of between £1.5m to £2.5m. Communication with the Fans appears very open with future plans readily revealed, whereas ours is mostly cloaked in secrecy because our owners conduct their business, rightly or wrongly, differently to that of Peterborough.

Imagine the uproar if we handed out a three-year deal to someone who just got released by Forest Green in the Conference!
