Ollie's goal is as good as it looked last night - what a strike. The celebrations were great and it was noticeable how much louder we were than them.
I am still absolutely convinced by the highlights that Mildy got to the ball first. What cost him is it ricocheted off their player which made it seem as though he got to the ball first. The Puddy incident is one I think we may have got away with but it is still inconclusive as you cannot see the ball properly. Still, we were due a bit of luck in that game given the poor decision earlier on.
Well done Gas.

Wouldn't bother appealing the red.

From that replay, it looks like a red card.
Mildenhall would have saved the tame header at the near post too.

Eastleigh have posted their highlights on their Youtube page: Brilliant! Thanks for that. Cracking goal. Does anyone know why Rovers can't do a decent job of giving us highlights? If Eastleigh have a camera and a laptop, surely we ought to invest in the same? Or is that down to the new IT expert who's meant to be coming in?

Clarke's goal was just how I remembered it - corker. Loved it.
Watching the highlights reminded me of their goal awful "We are, we are Eastleigh" (to the tune of We Will Rock You). Embarrassing.
Convinced Mildy won the ball. Hope we appeal it.
Puddy handled the ball outside the area as far as I was concerned last night and the replay wasn't definitive enough to convince me either way.
Pleased with the point all things considered.

I agree, Mildy got the ball first. I saw it three times and I'm sure of it. However, still not sure they'll overturn the card as they might feel it's a wreckless challenge nonetheless. Parkes sold him down the river, there wasn't much else Mildy could have done.
Puddy looked like he could have done better for the goal and also had a couple of dodgy moments in the second half. He does look on the small side for a keeper, too.
Ellis looked very lively. Ollie - what a strike! Well done lads on a great battling performance.
Thanks Eastleigh for putting this up on YouTube. Yet another club to put ours to shame on the PR front.
Come on Rovers, give a little bit back to the fans, it really doesn't take much effort. There's so much good will coming from the fans of this club, as ever, it would be nice to see this reciprocated by the board.

I have said a number of times this season that it would make sense to get students on Media/Journalism courses to come and film/commentate our home games. I'm sure UWE have some decent equipment (better than a fan on a camera phone) and it would be fantastic experience for anyone wanting to get into the media industry. I reckon they would do a pretty good job at creating a highlights package for us.

I thought on the night that Mildenhall got to the ball first, but seeing these highlights I've changed my mind. The Eastleigh forward just gets there first and pokes it past Mildenhall. Not worth appealing this red card IMO especially as if there is any doubt then the ref's decision will be upheld.
Great game though with a cracking atmosphere... one that will live long in the memory.

Puddy was voted players player of the season last season at Salisbury so he must be a decent keeper at this level. To be fair Mildy has set the bar pretty high though.

If they did want to appeal I've tried to go through it frame by frame and this shows Mildy did get there first pbs.twimg.com/media/By4KWt4IcAASD_j.jpgSeen the goal. Was a screamer should try that at this level more often.

In my opinion it was clear last night, and is just as clear on the video, that Mildy comfortably got to the ball first. You only have to look at the fact it rolls towards him, but is bobbling after the challenge.

Was a screamer should try that at this level more often. Hmmmm, I'm not so sure - it looks like the forward just lifted it over Mildy's foot before going down. Of course it could have been a ricochet off Mildy's foot if he did get there first. I fear that if we do appeal then it won't get us anything as there is enough evidence of a bit of a reckless challenge, and the ban could be increased. On a similar topic, Clarkes second booking looks really soft - he seems to pull out of any contact to me.

I agree with this. Mildy did make contact with the ball but he still brought the player down when he had the ball at his feet to tap it into an empty net. Tom Parkes has to learn not to dither on the ball and then play risky passes - it should have gone straight back to Mildenhall. You should never pass the ball across your back four when there are opposition players pushing on you. Ollie's second yellow was very harsh. I cant believe how many yellow cards we are getting for minor fouls.

What penalty? Did I miss something?
Brilliant goal by Clarke.
From the vid, I'd have sent Mildy off.

Maybe because in the League they didn't feel they needed to because of the TV and they're slow to adapt.
