Will the S.W stand be the same size as before ? Will it link onto the south stand ? Sorry I haven't seen any plans or info . I assume it's a straight replacement but the club's ben totally silent, perhaps they've even cancelled them as we won't need them now Harrison's gone, who knows. Perhaps TG's bitten off more than he can chew or everything is timed to perfection. it was me who first mentioned the new stands on here Tops and I have to say I wasn’t told the SW was being replaced. I just assumed it was on it’s usual summer jolly to other events such as the tennis.

Well, I live very close to the Mem (around 100yds to the SW Stand!) and I heard a lot of metal clanging and workmen shouting abuse at each other this afternoon! Either the SW stand being built, or some rich b***** getting the scaffolding round his house for another extension!

For what it’s worth, I was at club shop two weeks ago getting Peterborough tickets, I asked in the shop where the stand had gone, no one knew. I then asked about the new family stand and was told it was being made in France and would easily be erected before first home match and when I asked about away supporters stand was told not going ahead, asked why and no one knew !! How strange, but then, nothing would surprise me at the moment.

Unless we sign a number 9 pretty quick, we probably won't need the 3 new stands...

All this south east stand , south west stand talk is bloody confusing. So glad I stand up in the thatchers terrace I don’t have to worry about it. It’s still there right ??!!!

Won't be long before the Mem looks more like Chipperfields circus with more tents than stands.

Yes it's still there, but we have to shunt down west a bit to allow the ST holders in the unbuilt family stand to be able to sit on the steps. As they paid for seats they will have to sit - I just hope none of them start standing up at the front, there could be no end of trouble from those at the back who won't be able to see.

Although you can't buy tickets in any of them!

i was in contact with Tom G yesterday. The stands as I detailed in my earlier thread are being made in France imported in and should be installed a the start of August, clearly this hasn't happened at the moment, Tom says that the club will give an update on the stands when it can. appears a bit worrying, I know that the club have been in discussions with planning buti was under the impression that everything was going well. Those with tickets for the new family stand and the new larger south west stand may need to bring their deck chairs for the first home game!.
Regards season cards they have all been sent out and everyone should get their card by the end of next Monday (6th). When I get any more factual info I will pass it on to you.

Surely it doesn't take long for for TG to email/phone the suppliers for an update on when they are likely to arrive? Did TG jump the gun by selling ST's for the new family stand before it was even in place!

Just stick them in the south stand for a month or however long it takes to get put in and offer a small good will gesture as an apology. Job done.

Unsure exactly but will be greatly reduced in the winter when many of the tents are closed due to high winds.

Nah, it was probably Hani dragging his Treasure Chest of Money to a more secure location!
