to answer your questions.
The new stands are not tents but prefabricated metal stands, capacity cannot be determined until they have been installed and inspected by the city council safety officer.
I do not think it is the supplier that is the problem but Tom did tell me earlier on that the reason why the stands had not gone in earlier was due to the discussions with planning although he did ensure me that there were no major problems.

When they released the stadium map this week along with ticket sales all the stands mentioned were on there. Although you can't buy tickets in any of them! This map? I hadn't realised that the new family stand is uncovered seating until seeing this diagram, it'll be good to see the kids get soaking along with us on the east terrace!

I'm sure it will be covered seating. I agree surely it has to be, otherwise it'll be empty on a regular basis. Just seems there's been a lot of talk about sight lines of the East stand and also why go to the effort of adding the new category of uncovered seating to the diagram if its not needed?

Is it confirmed that the South West Stand won’t be in place? I have renewed my season tickets for there this season. Shambolic if it is true.

They were probably used at different events during the summer. Wimbledon being one.

I doubt they are in stock / off the shelf items. Based on when the club were able to place an order this might be the earliest delivery / installation time.

Well surely they could have placed an order early enough to get them delivered for the start of the new season.its not like we didn’t know when they were needed.

My point is that I doubt anyone on this forum knows how long it takes from placement of order to the stand being delivered and completed ready for use. So it's presumptuous to assume that the club have screwed up unless you know all the facts. For all we know the decision to place an order may have been made 27th April but the lead in time to delivery may be 14 weeks meaning they are due on site today. For all we know the club may have ordered the new stand with an extra 6 weeks time to spare but have been let down by the suppliers. My point is you don't know and neither do I. But hey ho let's just carry on as usual speculating that it's all a big cock up by the club when there are no facts available to back this up.

Fairs points but why sell tickets for stands unless you're certain they'll be constructed in time/approved to use plus why remove the SW stand until the new one had arrived given it was only built from scaffolding. Pretty sure we had similar issues with the old SW stand but no tickets were sold until they could be used.
