Meanwhile Salford City have rebuilt their ground over the summer and Accrington have put a new stand alongside the pitch where the open terrace was. All kit for from a British maker I believeGo on then, how do you know what British company made Salford City and Accrington Stanley's new stands?

To explain the planning procedure .The club would have approached Bristol cc with their proposals, the delegated planning officer would have asked for a copy of the plans, it appears that permission is not required but I suspect certain criteria would have to be met by the club. Temporary buildings may require permission if they are in situ for over 28 days and are larger than a specified size but there are many criteria that if met would avoid the need for permission. These criteria are probably being met but may involve revision to the proposed plans things such as impact on the townscape would have to be taken into consideration. As detailed before Building control will need to be involved for example to ensure any anchoring to the ground / foundations are up to requirements and services such as sewers cables are not an issue. They will at some point need to issue building regs certificate. This is just an example and it will be down to the officer what is required. The stands have probably now been built and will be installed at some point but I suspect there a few issues to be sorted which is why there is a delay in the installation. Tom G said he will let us know when he can regards their installation.

Lets just leave for the club to, hopefully, make an announcement ahead of next Saturday's game.

So Gloucestershire Cricket can build 4 tents / stands A B C D ( See map below at bottom of page ) via B.C.C . However: we can't add a few hundred with the same authority. I think we are making a good excuse again. Click below and scroll to bottom of page ' ground layout' . A B C D are temp stands adding 8-10, 000. www.gloscricket.co.uk/news/england-v-india-it20-visitor-information/
