Not in any way an attack on DC and he should be remembered as the man who saved this club with nothing but the trust of the chairman at the time, but the momentum has gone and whilst we have Darrell as manager, we're regressing and now in a relegation scrap. Sack DC now, give a new manager a month to get his style of play across the dressing room and make funds available in January for him to bolster this squad.
We're going backwards with DC. Have been since we were promoted to L1. Get a new man in to save our season. Wont happen under DC, sadly.

Keep DC and get the players who are not playing for him out.
Let's not make the same mistake we made when Penny came in.

I can't agree I'm afraid, as the blame lies elsewhere for me.
However, I do think that either the board will panic or Darrell may even think he can't do any more with this team under the circumstances he us working under. I suspect this may happen before our next game. It will be a sad day whenver it doea happen.
I really hope I am wrong, as if he does go, this club will turn in on itself and all anger will be directed at the board/owners. The resultant toxic atmosphere and infighting only ever leads one way.

Well, at the time I thought Nichols, Upson and Bennett were great signing and would add experience, skill and goals to the team just shows how wrong you can be.
I thought at the time that Rodman and Payne were poor signings given how often they had moved club so at least I was right about that.

I just can't see the board wanting to part with the cash to get rid of DC which kind of serves them right for getting him to commit for 5 years on the back of the UWE pipe dream

Amazing how people have such short memories I’m only in my early twenties but still remember the Trollope sacking and the aftermath, why on earth would people want all that again?!

I genuinely think we're more likely to go down without DC than with him. It feels like we can't win whichever option we take.

Agree with gregsgas , All this talk of losing dressing room and players not playing for DC, What the f--- is that all about.Players are paid by Bristol Rovers FC And are expected to carry out the management instructions, as per any other job,if they dont ,wont,or are incapable then you get sacked , end of!DC ,for your own sake get rid now and give youth a chance! too young? bollocks!an 18 year old scored after a minute tonite for Swindle and added another for good measure , you have to change the mentality of this squad cos otherwise they will cost you your job which would be tragic for all of us!it has been evident all season that the front six players are not doing it and where as your loyalty to them is admirable they are taking it for granted!it is obvious you are hurting and it is also clear some of these players do not care enough to give what you are giving! i dont believe it is too late and we can still turn this round if we all stick together, the vast majority of fans are still with you but please clear the decks and try some thing new , you got nowt to lose and everything to gain with a couple of inspired Jan swaps and some young guns we will survive ,my prediction ? we will finish 14th at worst, up the Rovers!!!

I want us to start winning again even if just to stop these bloody "DC out" threads, they're doing my head in, let alone the fact that as a Gashead I always want Rovers to win.
DC IN, despite the poor form and seemingly poor signings. Board Out due to their inaction and incompetence affecting a negative atmosphere around the club. If they were to sack DC, that would be the final straw for me.

"Not in any way an attack" yet the thread is called "Get DC out now."
We lost our goalie to injury and Smith had to face their second goal which nobody bothered to close down.
If Sercombe was a bit luckier, Payne had scored with that header, or Bennett was able to pass the ball, this thread wouldn't exist.

To be honest I'm more in now after that than I was before tonight's game. We absolutely battered them second half and if we actually had some luck on our side would have won that comfortably. It feels like we're due a change of fortunes. Offside goals, blatant penalties denied, hitting the woodwork on a regular basis. We're creating the chances, just not finishing them.

If I could see another manager doing better with this lot it would be out, but I can't it's not his fault that we can't convert our chances our forwards are simply not doing their job. We had 24 shots to their 8, 5 shots on target to their 2, majority of possession and a man advantage for 20 minutes. If we can't win matches when we are that much in control its not the managers fault imo .

No manager could do better, the club stinks from the top. DC is worth more by resigning, this club is a rancid!

Some are not 100% trying and some are not good enough. We still have guys in the squad from our Non league season and some of them were just about good enough for that standard. Keep DC , Try some of the younger ones to Jan then a complete overhaul.Whatever this simply cannot be allowed to carry on.
