Utter wankers ! We were all well and truly taken in by these lady gardens , I’m just so angry and saddened that I along with many other long suffering gasheads thought that we were going to finally get the club we all deserved ! Like usual we’ve been shafted. It’s time to face the facts that we will always be a Dam joke to the rest of the football league, the only decent thing we have is us fans, we deserve so much better.

The one thing we can all do is either mass protests as games or boycott. Boycotting the Accrington game and going Christmas shopping instead seems perfect, as we always lose to them regardless as to how many fans turn up. What I can't get my head around is if they won't support DC in January then why the hell are they wasting £500K+ on a pointless CEO, a useless HoF and a mystery office in London. The ALQ's are possibly the worst owners any Bristol club has had in most of our lifetimes. I genuinely don’t see why we should be using club funds to rent an office in London. Dam disgraceful imo. Also can’t believe how many fans today were resigned to nothing changing, people talking about DC needing to go sparked a conversation near me with some saying that DC has to go because Wael won’t. I’m sorry but this is all just so Dam wrong, I can’t beleive what’s happening to the club I love. Higgs was a disaster but at least he was our disaster. A fan trying his best with what little he had. I admit I wanted him to go and was buzzing when we were sold but what the f**k have these new owners done for us? New hand dryers and new tents, wow. Purchased a field and done f**k all with it, outstanding. Why not sell it for housing if we aren’t going to build on it? At least they could use that money to reinvest in players or recoup some of their losses. Some on here have said all of the spending they’ve done in terms of staff has been secured by loans against the club. What happens if they call these in or sell the Mem to get the money and leave us homeless? We’d be screwed. Love the gas, love dc (whether he stays or goes I don’t mind at this point), but these owners/Wael can f**k right off. I want my Rovers back even if it is ragbag and sh**, we certainly don’t need to be watering money up the wall renting swanky offices in London and paying two OAP’s god knows how much ££ to do essentially nothing. Rant over.

Very dangerous and very stupid for the club to start trying to cover up the truth. Could get very ugly. Definitely not something you can justify. Disgraceful from Rovers. Absolutely Hugo. Nothing other than a clear honest statement from Wael on Monday morning will suffice in my book. Ha. Good luck with that! I'd take any kind of statement from him between now and Christmas to be honest!

The sad thing is I'm not even exaggerating. He'll be busy keeping his head buried in the sand, as he has since the feasibility study.

He's most likely stuck in a war between Hani & DC, Hani should really have been named as President and Wael VP, so we knew from day 1 who was making the decisions, as Hani's clearly making them just Rovers luck that he doesn't like football!

Day after day it seems to be more reasonable to suggest some sort of conspiracy to launder money or evade tax. Why else would someone sink that money in in the first place just to let it go stale?
The office in london, the CEO, Hamer etc. They all have to go imo. We could buy a hallmark striker every 1-2 seasons just by letting them go. Which is absolutely mental.

Of that I'm convinced, but I'd be surprised if they were criminals.

Reading that BP article have a feeling come Monday morning DC won’t be at the club. If he is, that shows me Wael is totally inept and in fact doesn’t either a care about the club or b have any backbone at all.
A few quotes essentially calling Wael a dishonest fraud:
“So that’s what it is, that’s where we are, that’s clarity. Whether that upsets a few, it probably will do, but I always think honesty, integrity, letting people know the score is the best way of dealing with it.”
“Just think clarity needs to come out. It’s not hard, is it? It’s not hard to say for me. I might get my knuckles wrapped”
“They tell me things, they’re still working on this and this, but I don’t see anything progressing. I say this to them as well.”
“I don’t think anyone would blame me for walking out the door, would they? ... I’m emotional sometimes after the game, like I was after the Gillingham game, but, for me, I want to get clarity out there. That’s where we stand as a football club, let’s try and *ing move it forward.”

Im just hoping that the next announcement from Wael will be that the club has been sold. Always need to be careful what you wish for but the Jordanians clearly have not had the stomach for some time to put in the investment required to take our club forward. Would also like to know what the fans director on the board has done up stand up for our us. Radio silence seems to be the mantra apart from Hamer’s car crash interviews.

But I don't think so, I just guess they decided to reign their money in. Its the training ground I don't understand.

If they sack him I imagine we will get to learn all sorts!! got to be done tho! Can’t wait to hear it! I doubt we'd hear anything for at least ten years after DC leaves. I imagine that the club and DC will reach a mutual agreement that saves the club a few quid and DC gets a reasonable payout to see him through. And both parties will sign, yes you've guessed it........a confidentiality agreement!!

How could anybody be idiotic enough not to check out the projected costs of a development like that, before purchasing land and going public with a plan for it? I'd say the plan was half cooked but that's not true, it wasn't even in the oven.

I think we are past that point now. Swissgas's analysis of the family's holdings (and he sounds like he can be trusted with this sort of work) revealed that they do not have the sort of capital to compete at the higher echelons of the football league so whether Hani likes football or not they are paupers compared to the company they are in. The writing was on the wall with the scaled down training ground. No chance of them building a stadium once they could only afford groundworks for a training complex.

Some things certainly don’t add up no matter how much some rose tinters or those ‘ITK’ would have us believe. The CEO appointment and London office both don’t sit right with me. That’s just my view as a regular everyday guy and season ticket holder. Makes me feel like not buying one next year I just don’t want to give any money to these charlatans, but at the same time I can’t not go and watch my club, it’s a lose lose because if I go I’m in some way endorsing how they’re running things. Feel like we as a fanbase are being taken for a ride

Do you think if they can only afford 2 million for a training ground could have afforded the sort of money to buy prime land for housing development? The previous owners would never have sold to DS and just gone straight for PP themselves if there was any real estate value to the land. On the subject of them selling us out I recall the rose tinters telling the likes of me that I was an idiot for even contemplating that the ground could be sold to recoup their losses and that DS were our glorious saviours with a masterplan up their sleeve. Well, it doesn't seem so ridiculous now does it that we could find ourselves homeless?

So is there going to be a protest then? Is anyone organising anything? Think it needs to be done, maybe a boycott of the next home game against Fleetwood? But would people actually not turn up in numbers? Needs someone to organise it, publicise it etc, some of that social media stuff I guess.
