Terrible decison to make. Yes, DC has made mistakes, but he still had the best interests of the club at heart, and seemed determined to try and get us out of this mess.
Wael out next please, may as well have a fresh start all round if DC is no longer here.
Thanks for the memories DC, up there with the best we've ever had. UTG

Thanks for everything Darrell. Now the AQ can bring in a 'yes' man.

We’re as good as down now, expect boycotts and fan outrage over the next few weeks, starting with a drubbing Saturday.

Cannot thank DC enough for everything he has done. Very very sad day in the club’s history. Will take me a while to get over this feel genuinely upset

The only (and I mean only) silver lining is that they're going to give a new manager a chance to assess the squad and give him the whole Jan window. Regardless of what we can or can't do in it.
But that's where it ends. League Two beckons. Good luck DC. Showed loyalty when the big boys came coming and got shown absolutely zero in return.

Is Marcus Stewart in charge then? I hope not. He's not management material in my eyes. I'd rather Hargreaves took temporary charge. However, what I'd really rather do is pretend DC is still our manager!!

Sounds a bit like he wanted to go, from that statement. I know 'mutual' decisions are often not mutual, but it's hard to get a feel for what actually happened from that.

This has legit depressed me much harder than I expected.
The impacts of this decision on every possible aspect are too overwhelming for me to form coherent sentences, but I will say these two things:
First, best of wishes to DC. He's talented, driven, and will no doubt achieve success elsewhere - especially in a place where he has actual backing.
And second... I have a good memory. And I'll be here to see the DC slaggers water and moan at the next manager when things go south for us.

I don't trust a word that comes out of BRFC other than what DC told us in his interviews. Now DC has gone, I can only take anything that is posted on the website with a large pinch of salt.

Turning down Leeds with the promise of a new stadium, new training ground and bigger budgets, not having to sell our best players etc. Just for it all to be a lie.

Good shout, but then I like Manse too much to see him thrown to the wolves at this stage of his coaching career.

MS not management material in my opinion I think he’d be a disaster but I’d be happy for Hargreaves to take it. Gutted to see DC leave but I honestly couldn’t see him turning it around this time he was clearly seething about off field matters and it was clouding his judgment on the football matters. Thanks for all your hard work DC , will always be a Gas legend in my eyes.

He made it incredibly clear that he had absolutely no intention from walking away from the club in our current on the pitch state. I have no doubt whatsoever that he has been pushed here.

Right time IMO. He lost the plot this season. If I was the board I wouldn't trust him in the market again.
Big month now for the board. Let's see who they bring in and how much they spend in January, before kicking off.
