I hope not. He's not management material in my eyes. I'd rather Hargreaves took temporary charge. However, what I'd really rather do is pretend DC is still our manager!! Neither are good enough! Hargreaves couldn’t handle Torquay in the conference ffs Talking of Torquay in the conference, how about Gary Johnson? He turned them around virtually over night.

I don't get the chance to go to many games these days but I won't be making the effort until the clowns in charge are gone.

If the clowns in charge put Stewart or Hargreaves in charge for Saturday I can see us getting hammered, lets just hope they've got Cotterill or Hirst lined up but I wouldn't hold my breath. I assume this decision means there's no chance of a takeover anytime soon, a sad day for the club but it'll be interesting to see how the players react on Saturday.

Sad but inevitable given it’s a results business. Hamer is apparently keen to get Cotterill in - he’s been his guest at recent games.

Absolutely gutted. Without doubt given me my best memories of supporting Rovers. I can only see another period much like after Trollope left where we go from manager to manager achieving nothing.
Who the hell is going to sign for us when it's clear as day the board have absolutely no intention of taking the club forward. Basically their brief would be to become a midtable L1 club in a sh** hole stadium and pick up dog sh** on the training ground. I bet candidates are queuing up!
All the best DC. The Al-Qadis don't deserve you.

I can’t stand Cotterill and I hope we don’t go for him but as you say it’s a results business and if he kept us up that would do. If he didn’t however I think that would just about kill me.

I don't think the board had much choice after Saturday's post match interview. I don't think many boards would take that kind of interview in public.

The man who turned me from occasional radio listener to season ticket holder.
Absolutely gutted, won't get someone in like him for a long time if ever.
Good luck in the future to him, god knows what will happen to us now!

I just wish as fans we had the chance to thank him & say goodbye.
For those that do attend the next home game, is it time for "we want our Rovers back?"

Shocked tbh, the statement was poor, no info, we have a game in 48 hours and there's no plan for the future

True, and if it makes them reassess their decisions and their plans for the future, it might be the most important thing DC has ever done for us.... ....given he's now gone though I wouldn't hold your breath.....

Gutted for DC. Hope he goes on to have a stellar career, even without us. Thanks for the promotions and the good times Darrell.
This could start getting messy for the club now.
