I'll tell you what is sad. Feeling the need to slag off a home grown talent who has achieved a lot of success with us at the young age of 24. How am I slagging him off. Anyone who speaks their mind on here, most of the time, runs the risk of getting coated off. Depending on who it is of course. Rest my case. The Undroppable Tom prefix was created for a reason. Who are you to decide what people should or should not think about the Rovers squad as individual players. I suppose 12,000+ posts gives you the right. OK, you don't rate him. I think youre being a bit disrespectful to him though and the facts would go against your post. He has won 2 promotions with us and our defensive stats say otherwise this season, and I think he's our 2nd top scorer.

Bit off to go at a solid Gashead and poster like that. He’s got a point though , as much as HG is a ‘solid gashead’ he does like to sh** stir from time to time , even he would admit that , I’m sure HG didn’t take it to heart, unless he’s asked you to come out in his defence 😉 Just time to time ? I'm as innocent as the pure driven snow that's about to land on your barren brain pan

Locks big problem this season is the fact he has an identical player playing alongside him. It was a strange move by DC to sign another short CB who can't pass. We'll probably witness the full effect of this tomorrow afternoon, when we have to suffer 90 mins of Craig's sideway pass to Locks to then hoof it towards the strikers, then posters wonder why our strikers never score.

Lockyer dosnt have a big problem though, hes just fine and is having a very good season so far as is craig imo. toms distribution isnt great but i would wager any of the 92 managers in the league would pick him for every game with our current squad if they managed rovers. Craig has a decent left foot and hits some very good diagonal balls in behind opposing defences imo.

Yep along with the cock rings. Do they taste anything like onion rings? Only when he's had it on for a while.

Seemed a decent player and a nice lad who had his head screwed on. Shame it didn’t work out for him in terms of games but he will struggle for game time with our good defence. At his age best to move on to make a career for himself. And this window there will be hundreds of players in his position wanting first team football and moving on. No major story really but it’s always a bit “what if” had circumstances been different. Perhaps it’s a good move for everyone. Swindon seems a bit of a car crash at the moment and their manager hasn’t been that successful. Glad GC has had a better start than Wellens has! Good luck Tom. UTG!

Could have made a move for Cian Bolger who move moved to Lincoln a couple of days back.... There are loads I would target to bring in on loan if possible Sam Hughes (Leicester), Lloyd Jones (Luton), Cian Harries (Swansea), Joe Rodon (Swansea), Marc Guehi (Chelsea), Zech Medley (Arsenal), Kyle Howkins (West Brom), Nathan Ferguson (West Brom), Ben Wilmot (Watford), Jonathan Dinzeyi (Tottenham), Timothy Eyoma [also plays RB] (Tottenham), Harry Souttar (Stoke), Robbie McKenzie (Hull), Anel Ahmedhodzic (N Forest), Kean Bryan (Sheff Utd), Morgan Feeney (Everton) amp.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/01/16/everton-coach-david-unsworth-raves-about-teenager-morgan-feeney/Rodons a regular for Swansea so should be nowhere near this list but tbf we’ve got as much chance signing him than anyone in this list with our history

Can't blame him for wanting a move.He has never ever had a run of games since he got here Aug 2017. He will go on to greater things. The undroppable Lockyer-Beckenbauer remains to "boss" (cough),the back three/four. He will never be Steve Elliott if he plays another thousand games. Flatters to deceive every time he plays.I bet he is well chuffed that Broadbent is going. Sad day for a great prospect. Good Luck Tom. I'll tell you what is sad. Feeling the need to slag off a home grown talent who has achieved a lot of success with us at the young age of 24. Well done GGMI! About the most sensible post on this thread. Blimey why do we need to be so critical about a young man who’s piled up the games and been a central part of our success over the past 4 years. Good luck to Tom B. UTG!

I am still disappointed that Tom has gone as there were definite glimpses of what he could bring to the squad and team, plus at 26/27 he would have another 5 years at least given the improved physical care in today's game, and of course his super fit/healthy background. I had hoped he could become that big commanding partner alongside Tom L for a few season to come, but clearly it isn't to be. I'd also felt he could have been part of a back five, with Craig sweeping and organising, bringing much needed height and presence in tough away games.
Good Luck Tom B.
I hope this allows us to bring at least one, preferably a couple of players in now.

Got a feeling this move might come back and bite us on the bum. As a late comer into the game regardless of his age he has potential which can be further coached. It seems he was very frustrated re game opportunities under DC and therefore had made his mind up to move hence GC saying this move has been in the cards for a number of weeks. I can see him making Swindon some real money .

Well spotted.

We need another cb of his size tho, Lockyer Craig and Clarke are short and Partington is just a little weed. I hope his leaving means another cb is coming in Could have made a move for Cian Bolger who move moved to Lincoln a couple of days back.... We had him on loan when he was at Leicester so know all about him. I would have thought if we did go for him it was about money or it was just that we weren’t interested in him now
