All this talk about salary cap is complete and utter nonsense. There are a thousand ways around it. Our owners just use it as an excuse. And Hani refuses to donate anymore. Not quite- he's got millions in used notes and he's itching to flood the English transfer market with it. The only problem is that because the supporter's club are potless they are holding him back. EDIT: At least, that's what Wael told us and I believe Wael because he is a nice man.

Imagine what the club would be like if Higgs was still in charge and still desperately trying to pay of the Wonga loan

Linked with a move to Swindon. Not sure he would suit BG's plans tbh but a possibility?

Doesn't fit the profile that Widdrington is recruiting for. Complete Mon starter for me.

Why not? He has scored goals everywhere he's been. 31 or 32 now? His best years are behind him.

An ideal GC signing IMO but the opposite of what I imagine BG is after.

Isn't he going to Plymouth? That's what I have heard from an ex Plymouth player.

Isnβt going to happen, again it would be signing a player years too late. Had he come when Pompey signed him we would have gained the benefit but probably not now. But having watched him sign apprentice forms on the pitch at Dean Court all those years ago and having seen him score over the seasons for Bournemouth I have no doubt he is the best poacher, one on one goalscorer and penalty area striker that I have seen over the past 15 years. And his scoring record is very good. UTG!
