Danny Coles and Steve Philips did well for us. Don't mind an ex city player as long as they do well for us, we can't afford to rule out players just because they played for city in the past.

Tomlin stick no different to cricket sledging. If he said hello in the street would anyone be impolite? In all fairness a hostile away environment is good for the home team. Probably one of the few selling points we have. Think Tomlin would have thought crap atmosphere if he didn't get stick. As long as it doesn't get too personal

If it’s part of a deal to take Kelly or Sercombe the other way would you be as excited?

I thought he was dreadful gave the ball away time and time again. Kept chucking himself on the floor anytime someone came near him.

Kept chucking himself on the floor anytime someone came near him. He set up their first goal but not much else came off for him. Pitman is proven at this level I’d be happy to get him until end of season.

With Portsmouth signing Bogle, it could allow one of their strikers to head out on loan. Personally I’d be very happy if he came here. City connections aside, he’s 6’0”, experienced and a proven goal scorer at this level. If he was to become available for loan, I expect there to be quite a long queue for him though.

Over half the sides in league 1 would want him. Pompey wouldn’t want to loan to another club challenging but even so with our record of being able to bring good league 1 standard to the club I’d be amazed and delighted if he signed for us.
