It's worth going at this stage, the early games were difficult for me to get to, I can't make this due to child care but the final would be a good day out fans can decide for themselves but we deserve a good day after the below par season so far. The point for me is “we deserve a good day” over “ the history, heritage and future of the football league “ I’m sorry but I just can’t see how anyone can justify that. The football league is over 100 years old and will go on another 100 years or more if our planet is still capable of it. One day at Wembley in a corrupt competition over that doesn’t even register in my view. Not telling people what they should or shouldn’t do , just giving my view. That's fair enough, unfortunately I have watched all the home league games and struggling to go away with family things so could do with an all dayer with my friends, more important we stay up if we do both great because financially it will be good to get to the final.

I won't be going to the semi-final and/or final as the competition has been devalued by allowing so-called reserve teams entering. It used to be a valid cup tournament for the lower divisions and had some credibility then but has now become something of a farce. Having said that I won't condemn anyone who wants a good day out at Wembley - but imagine if it was us against Stoke reserves - embarrissing! I understand what you are saying, if we were playing an under 21 team there is no way I would go not a chance in hell, as there are only league teams left I may go depending on our league position

Argument in the sense of expression of ideas to convey a point.

We have 8 games in March and the other 7 are far far more important than this tinpot trophy fixture. We will be playing Sat/Tues for most of the month so we must sacrifice this fixture and put out a fringe team.

Boycott aside, our progression in this competition is far ideal given the looming fixture list.
Our focus has to be on the league and this Sunderland game is a needless distraction.

After today's performance i don't think we really need to have too much concern about going to wembley

This is ridiculous. I know let's put out a full squad in the cup, finally win a home match, then be so knackered we are even worse in our home games that follow, but we get to Wembley in a mini, mini mickey mouse cup but get relegated.

I still can't get my head around the comment a member of the EFL, saying that no changes of format to an established competition will be made without approval of majority of EFL clubs i can't believe that this was backed by the 2 Division lower league clubs, on principle icannot bring myself to support this format change to this competition but i do not blame anyone who does, its just not get me excited enough

At the expense of Scunthorpe and Gillingham away? We should try and win all 3. But realistically we'll need to rest players as it's 3 games in a week. Hopefully common sense will prevail and we'll prioritise the league.

Isn’t it 3 games in 8 days. 2 games in 8 is the norm and for some of the season 3 games is standard. 2 extra games maximum. I’m sure they will cope, drop a physical training day and do some work on mental toughness instead. I play 4 games every week , do 50 hours in the Glassworks and still drag a wheelie bin full of empty beer bottles up a fkin steep driveway every Monday morning. No reason professional athletes can’t win 3 games in 8 days.

I reckon the semi-final is a big game for both teams and both teams will play strong teams for the match.

It's far from ideal and for me, our sole focus has to be on survival.
