Funnily Depressingly enough, that was actually what I was suggesting they would have done. If we were lucky they'd start putting up some additional tents in even more gaps Is there even any space for more tents? The only places I can think of are above the away terrace, like what has been done with the new family stand and extending the tent to run along the full way across the south end of the pitch, something that is definitely feasible for would add 500 seats although you’ve got to say we’d be a total laughing stock if we went ahead and did it. We moved into, and some way beyond, laughing stock territory with the Family Stand plonked onto the East Terrace.

They still put up the money for it to happen. A new east stand could be cost neutral over time if enough thought was put into it. Overall the suggestions being put forward about the stands and development stuff are all good ideas which owners with vision, imagination and reasonable access to money could plan for over a period of time. Said it before, will say it again, surely their must be a gashead supporter in east or north Bristol who is rich and who could buy us and bring together all the good will that is out there for us. Pretty sure if Fleetwood, Brighton, Swansea, Reading or Bournemouth could find one we could. UTG! That's the thing. The Al-Qadis as a family are a lot more wealthy than Andrew Pilley (Fleetwood), Dick Knight and Tony Bloom(Brighton),Huw Jenkins(Formerly Chief Exec of Swansea), John Madjeski(Formerly Reading) and Maxim Demin(Bournemouth). The difference is for whatever reason Wael as the mouthpiece from day one has openly stated that they aren't going to just chuck money into us. They aren't prepared to use all their own money on getting us what we want, which is fair enough I suppose if you look into how much money Madjeski lost when he was at the helm of Reading. Its also a shame that Bristol, the backwater that it is, clearly doesn't give a sh*t about its sports teams. Its took a Billionaire at the other lot to do anything.

My point was about finding a gashead with the money who would be a “fan” with the emotional attachment that the AQs don’t have. Regarding us, the AQs could be one of the richest families in the world but if they don’t put even a reasonable amount if money in and still keep us increasing our debt then it doesn’t matter how rich they are. I wouldn’t expect anyone to chuck money in but I would like to see a man with a plan. UTG!

I think if you take on ownership of a football club then there is a certain justified expectation that you put money in to make it competitive, with the hope that you will put enough in to progress it. However, what is required is communication of some semblance of a plan. What are your ambitions for the club? How do you intend to achieve that, etc... That's sadly missing from the current custodians.

That is a harsh thing to say but whilst I was a great supporter at the beginning I’ve always believed you’re judged on what you do and what you say. It’s beginning to look as if neither of 5hose are positive. UTG!

I do, they seem to quite to be quite proactive when it comes to the small upgrades on the mem. No reason to suggest they haven't at least had a discussion about anything more. They are all cost neutral projects though, nothing has really been spent. The tent stands for example, cost was £10k, the exact rate card for sponsoring it. Actual cost to the club was zero. and that is a bad thing ?

What's annoying is that with a commitment to some real investment into a new Ground, Wael et al could get their money back within 5 years. And on top of that, have the adoration of the fans. If what was promised (or at least heavily hinted at) at the beginning, we could have been looking at a nice new Stadium next year. Hopes dashed. Again.
