Barnsley now promoted after tonight's results so it'll be a bit of a promotion party for them on Saturday evening, I wonder if they'll rest a few first team players now, or go all out for a win to try and win the Championship? Why would they rest players ??

I'd be flabbergasted if they rested players with the league title at stake. I hope we can end on the high though and whilst I have no strong feelings towards either Barnsley or Luton, I'd quite like to see Luton win the title considering they've been top of the league for so long.

Barnsley and Luton up ! Bolton and Ipswich down. This division is looking good for next season. Out of interest why do you feel it's looking good, Bolton look a bit of a basket case compared to well run Barnsley and good knows what to expect from Ipswich next season, as they've been poor all this season.

And we can make money on allowing 2000 plus Sunderland Pompey Plymouth Charlton Bolton Ipswich Coventry even Newport fans.

In the Post today they mentioned Browner being in contact with Lockyer hoping we'd do Pompey a favour and beat Barnsley on Saturday. After tonight's result - we may be meeting you and your nearly men again next season!

Oxford have been on a bit of a run recently, could get a draw and Luton may be feeling the pressure of winning the title. Both level on points, Barnsley need to overturn a goal difference of 4 or hope Oxford get a draw or better. Assuming they beat us of course 😀

So Barnsley would throw the game just because Luton are likely to win? That would be ridiculous in my opinion, and if Rovers were in Barnsley's shoes and did that, I'd be really angry! They've got the whole summer to relax after this weekend, why would they need to rest players for the final game?

Don't see much of a difference there - tbh none of them really excite me and I hope we find a more dynamic and better finisher to partner JCH next season. If GC gets that guy we can think of a top half finish.

I remember the treatment the brom fans got on the popular terrace that day and it was beyond brutal.... Unfortunately it will live in my mind as a unwelcome memory until the end of my days and serves as a lesson about breaching segregation regulations.... Whilst I think that was a different time, I wouldn't rule it out is there are too many vociferous Barnsley fans in the North Terrace on Saturday.
A&S constabulary will be aware and I hope that things can go off peacefully. I’m surprised that it looks like you can still buy tickets online.
