Accrington second from Bishop, looks a very tidy player. Much the better team here. Beautiful dummy by him before scoring! Looks like a young Rooney? Hope he stays home at nights? Difference between Accy and us coming out of COVID break; we were .... at MK but Accy look a class above and all over Charlies! Probably the best team in L1 so far and by some?

Accrington have been brilliant tonight, be interesting to see how we get on at Charlton a week tomorrow. They have been very poor up front tonight and hardly troubled the back three of Accrington.

I remember that day when we had to better their result and the celebrations on the pitch when their result came through great times. I think they came up the year after ? And since then they’ve done really well and seem a settled club, We on the other hand have been on our usual Rovers rollercoaster but for now at least we seem settled and fairly stable. Obviously our potential is bigger than there’s but we’ve been saying Bristol Rovers have the potential to be a big successful club for as long as I can remember. UTG

They have been poor but i think that’s largely down to Accys quality defending. Those central defenders are beasts and they’re quick and can play too.

Accrington are 7 points behind the leaders with 3 games in hand. We can only dream.

Agree, their 3-5-2 works very well with a very tidy young keeper and the two up front are real quality. Could well. do a Wycombe this season.

If Accrington get promoted this season it’s gotta go down as one of the greatest promotions ever surely? It’s phenomenal what they’re achieving

Incredible position really for a club their size to be mixing it with teams like Portsmouth, Charlton, Ipswich and Sunderland. A touch of Rovers 1990 about them

In 2019 Accrington’s playing budget was £1.7m. Sunderland received £34m just in parachute payments. Quite eye opening, although Sunderland need all the cash they can get if they want to play in Europe in 5 years 😂

Agree, their 3-5-2 works very well with a very tidy young keeper and the two up front are real quality. Could well. do a Wycombe this season. Wycombe were lucky to go up in MANY ways. Accy ate playing good quality football. For a team coming out of COVID break, they put us to shame vs MK? Really good aggressive forwards, quality goalie and defence and did not allow Charlies to play at all. I suspect this is how they have been playing so far all season? Commentator also impressed with them. We were lucky to pip them in promotion on last day. Coleman is a great manager but more importantly, a decent and fair person. Accy teams have generally played fair and are not known for dirty or cheating play? A lot of the teams at the top are “static” in form? If Posh lose Dembele, they may struggle for auto promotion? Mind you, winter and cold has never suited his play? All we need is 3 wins in 4 to really get a shift on; we have done it before? We were mid table in Conference until we went to Eastleigh and then 🪀🚀⛰? Up The Table UTG

A touch of Rovers 1990 about them They are doing good but they have every right to mix it with the best. They have every right to be in L1 and have a very proud history. There will be a lot of smaller clubs mixing it with the big boys this FA weekend. They have earned it by trawling through the qualifiers. Football is not about being big and rich; it helps but teams can also progress eg Hull Barnsley Blackpool Wigan Oldham etc with the right managers and players.
